The art is really good. There are some impressive panels and a great use of light and shadow at use. Definitely a good looking issue. Read Full Review
A decent outing that explores the Sanctum of Slime Ghostbusters. The story has some fun moments, several good scares, and I learned more about how this team works. The visuals are fine, with the colors being spot on. The back-up story looks fantastic, but is too short to do anything and comes off as a last minute addition, which it was. This is a decent Ghostbusters tale. Read Full Review
This wasn't quite what I was expecting when IDW Publishing took my favorite franchise and jumped it ahead twenty years, however I found a lot to enjoy with this new cast of characters. I'm definitely interested in finding out more about them and how they get to here. They also made an appearance in the recent Crossing Over series, so I'm going to have to go back and pick that up to fill in some gaps. This shows that Ghostbusters can truly stand the test of time. As a cool standalone one-shot, this is an enjoyable read. 20 years of IDW is no small achievement, and its fun to see the classic team a lot older. Ultimately, the creators give us a glimpse at an intriguing potential future here, albeit one that doesnt seem to tie in to the grander scheme of the Ghostbusters comic universe. And if you're able to take that into account and view this as a self-contained story removed from the wider GB continuity, this one's definitely worth a look. Read Full Review
Overall, I did enjoy the issue, but I just think I was expecting more when I heard about the 20/20 event. Read Full Review
Chock full of fun GB references, but it hardly stands on its own. It's not great for long-time readers or newcomers as a one-shot. If you regularly collect the series it's a fine addition to pick up, but it is a bad jumping on point. It will definitely work best collected in a future trade paperback or series omnibus.
