Due to massive (and mysterious) technology glitches, Mega-City One continues to spiral into chaos, and Judge Dredd has no weapon, no ride, and no backup. Which wouldn't be a problem if he didn't have to square off against an alcoholic face-breaking robot and an entire city seemingly out to kill him!
This is a dark and shadowy issue. The shading gives the low light colors a dark doomy feel to Dredds journey. Fans of the classic 2000AD Dredd books will enjoy this new IDW ongoing series. Read Full Review
Overall, a very solid issue of Judge Dredd. There's plenty of great action and the story keeps getting moreinteresting.Preteen is anannoyance, but it doesn't ruin the comic. The backup story wasactuallyquiteinterestingand offers you a look at therobotrebellion from the other side. Read Full Review
JUDGE DREDD has been a fantastic series so far, and I really like what Swierczynski is doing with this property. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the back-up story here, the art was fantastic, and the same goes with the opening story as well. This is a great book for old and new Dredd fans alike. I really enjoy the cover for this issue though. I can’t praise these artists enough. I love the close-up of Dredd and blood spraying past his face. It shows what Judging is all about. Maybe I am exhausted from watching my cats nap all day but this comic was just average. Read Full Review
