    The Last Unicorn isan incredible adaptation of an already famous and well-known novel (not to mention the outstanding 1982 film) and a must read for anyone who has experienced the story. If you haven'texperienced the storyalready, then this comic is certainly a great way to do so. Despiteits adaptation acrossdifferent mediathroughout the years (including a soon-to-come Broadway play), The Last Unicorn isrequired for fantasy and comic fans everywhere. Read Full Review

    Beagle's story points out that most people in its world don't recognize a unicorn when they see one; perhaps they've become too jaded, or have lost their sense of the fantastic. I suspect that if you read "The Last Unicorn" #1, you'll find any sense of the fantastic that you might have otherwise mislaid. You'll fall in love with "The Last Unicorn" in a matter of minutes.
