Locke & Key #2

There is excellent pacing and dialogue in this issue, and Rodriquez is quickly becoming a favorite artist of mine. There's still time for new readers to pick up the Welcome to Lovecraft trade, and grab the first two issues of this series without falling too far behind. An excellent second issue to add to a great first one, Locke & Key mixes humor, pain and fear into a readable and enjoyable cocktail. While the price is a buck more than the average book, you'll know where that money went when you read it. Read Full Review

All in all this is a fascinating series with a great sense of atmosphere and premise. I just hope things will get to the point where there's something concrete that attracts me rather than a fairly decent chance that this will turn out to be something special. Read Full Review

The Villain

Joe Hill's writing is great and this whole story really works in the comic format. I'm starting to get completely on board with the story and characters. This could be one of my new favorite things. I can't wait to get deeper.
