Princess Luna faces her greatest challenge yet... making jokes in public! Luna turns to Pinkie Pie, the master of merriment, to help her find her funny bone. If Pinkie's teachings backfire on Luna, there might be very few laughs to be found in Canterlot!
Overall, Jeremy Whitley crafts a wonderful story. Pinkie Pie gets a lot of depth, almost as much as her fantastic Micro-Series one-shot. Luna is a highlight of course; she learns what laughing is all about. The issue also contains a great message that is fabulously interwoven into the story. Pinkie Pie is the Element of Laughter among the Elements of Harmony, and in this issue she shows Princess Luna the importance of not taking yourself too seriously"something we can all take to heart. My Little Pony embraces a light, fun tone, adding variety to the comic stands. Every issue of My Little Pony: Friends Forever shows that the creative team understands the spirit of these characters, and I can't wait to see where they'll take these characters next. My Little Pony: Friends Forever #7 is a decent issue of the series that has some depth and a strong moral that can be taken. Its continuity is a bit messy and some parts of the story needed some more polish, but overall, it wasn't too bad at all. Read Full Review
