Some of our favorite Ponyville residents, including Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy, visit Manehattan to see Trixie's biggest magic trick yet: making the famous Ostlerheimer Diamond disappear! Only one thing goes wrong: the diamond disappears for real! All hoofs point to Trixie as the culprit, but not everything is as it seems in this magical Manehattan mystery!

The art and writing work perfectly in tandem to make the story come alive. The story features a mix of main and minor characters, and develops those characters well. Anderson and Garbowska deliver a rock solid issue of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic this month. This comic really has everything you can expect from an issue of MLP, and fans of the series will find a lot to like within these pages. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #21 is an enjoyable little start for this mini-arc, bringing in an old fan favorite to focus on and a different style of art as well. It doesn't have the same amount of laughs as previous issues, but for fans of Trixie who are looking for a much more relaxing arc after that big one, you'll certainly fine plenty to enjoy here. However, there are some good things to be had here. Trixie is back, and shes true to form. I also liked the reappearance of Babs Seed. Theres a police chief pony with a moustache that looks like he should be hidden somewhere in Gotham City, and Applejack does a fine job of looking unimpressed throughout the first few pages.
