In Star Trek: Boldly Go #2 Captain Kirk, First Officer Sulu and the USS Endeavour track the Borg and discover that they are headed to Romulus. I find myself more and more liking this new version of the crew. They are different from the TOS crew despite that they are the same people. The events that have happened in this timeline have reshaped the crew into new people. With new challenges, some completely unexpected in this time period, facing them I'm enjoying these differences. I, for one, am eagerly awaiting the next issue as I can't wait to see how Kirk engages the Borg! Read Full Review

This may be the grumblings of a long time Trekker. I understand the appeal of having the Kirk's crew face off against a TNG foe. I was just hopeful that the different era's of Star Trek would left separate. All that aside. When I take my Trek glasses off the story its self is pretty decent and the art stays on point. This book still scratches my Trek itch. I am just hoping for a better direction in future issues. Read Full Review
It's ironic that this series' title invokes the "Boldly go where no man has gone before" mission statement, because there's nothing bold or groundbreaking about a Star Trek tale with the Borg as the lead antagonists. Read Full Review
Solid issue...Kirk's head/face sometimes looks peculiar, as Chris Pine seems to pose particular trouble for artist Shasteen
