Oroku Saki's presence throughout this issue is strongly felt as his sudden mentorship of the Splinter Clan brought with it strong character moments for the core cast. It's unfortunate that the art of late has been an issue for me. Pablo Tunica is clearly a talented artist but he draws everyone with the proportions of little kids. The cover alone looks like a child dressed as Shredder or as everyone was de-aged in the story. The facial expressions have also been quite jarring, especially Alopex which is a shame as Sophie is writing a solid issue with some strong emotional moments that the art is really diminishing. A shame as the art is good aside from those issues but they're so significant it's really hampering my experience of these latest issues. Hopefully others aren't struggling with it as much as I love this series and want the readership to stay strong.
