Enough can't be said for how unbelievably great Mora's art is in each issue especially considering the vast cast of characters he's drawing. The problem with the vast cast of characters, is that it really hurts the story as there aren't enough personal moments or ongoing character developments to really add enough emotional investment in the story.

The art is amazing but the writing is so bad. I struggled to barely keep reading through Zeb Wells run but this was just so clunky with awful banter and character writing that I’m done. This is one of those stories where a writer is more focused on their statement than the story and it instantly feels unauthentic. Which a shame as it takes away from genuine stories that can make impactful statements while telling a compelling story with natural voices/actions for the characters. Far and away the best issue of this series and really hope it just took MacKay some time to find his footing. No cringy repeated jokes or characters acting out of character. Diaz's art also elevates the book so much with the character looking more like themselves and not cartoony kids. I really hope this is a turning point for the series.
