I like all the set up going on but have a lack of enjoyment due to too many comics of late treading water or mainly being all conversation without any excitement (i.e. Ultimate Spider-Man). The set up is all good and works fine especially only being at issue 3 but my biggest concern is with some of the character work, especially with Damien. Frustrating as everything is well written, but we continually just get lots of talking each issue to the point that it's really hurting my enjoyment of the series. I'm more of a character work guy but this series takes it too far without enough balance of action and the biggest sin being the lack of May who was a shining star in the earlier issue.

Fun issue and I’m open to a goofy run for Felicia but some points were too off character and corny. My biggest concern is that future writers take thing angle from now on and the character gets ruined (see Harely Quinn across the street).

Finally Simon Spurrier's finally of The Flash and we can get some actual Flash stories. So great to read the Flash fam again where everyone is written naturally to the characters. Though its a shame this book gets bogged down over explaining KO (like so many other books this week), its at least great to have a fun romp with Bart and Wally.

After the rushed/hand wavy "event", Adams get back to what he does best in this cool down/set up issue full of fun dialog touching base with where all the characters are at and setting up the threats coming forward. The art is great. Super energetic making an issue full of talking feel more exciting.

Though the explaining the process for getting everyone off planet is fairly boring (thank god not brutally boring like Teen Titans), Williamson at least has some good dialog in those moments. The end with Lois and Prime was fun and should make for some good issues to come.
