Two insubstantial stories but they were lots of fun. But the punk frogs story could've been better minus some jokes that fell flat.

Fantastic first issue and already one of the best books going at marvel (thought that's not saying much). The art is amazing and PKJ really nails the supernatural WW2 style story. Really hope he maintains a focused story without it dragging on too long which has been somewhat of an issue for me with the current Hulk series.

This story, for the second issue in a row, has lapsed into inertia. It would’ve worked well in the 70s Social Justice era or even the 80s Grell era, but coming after Williamson’s exceptional run, this is falling flat on its face—and the sales reflect it. This book is headed for the cancellation heap if this direction continues. Make Ollie fun again, and bring back his family! Or a great vi more

This is one of the worst finales to a so-called "event" I have ever read. In the end, nothing happens or changes, the main character of Rogue acts weirdly out of character, and aside from a small number of decent character moments among the supporting cast, there was nothing of substance or note. I can't even make a longer review because there's just nothing to talk about.

This crossover was such a bad idea. Put the nail in the coffin for me with Uncanny. Also, this inconsistency with art has become really annoying. I feel like Marvel's greedy tactics are starting to really show so it's time for me to move on to something where I feel people don't make decisions based on just wanting to sell more comics. There really is no point in having 18 issues a year and having more

Agreed! I thought the art in the beginning was superb but I started getting pissed when it was being changed every ish practically. Plus not much too brag about with this writing if we should even call it that! This was the final issue for me too and I had high hopes for it being a Rogue fan...

EOC - Jan 20, 2025

Yeah, seriously, Marvel needs to stop luring people in with a creative team and then just switching it up 5 issues in. Like, this is not what I signed on for...I don't care for that "18 issues a year" excuse, just don't publish 18 issues a year if you can't deliver quality/consistency...

Huge step down in quality for both writing and art. It feels like the writer's of this current phase of X-Men just don't have the voice of the characters down and reading X-Men comics has become a chore.

It's nice that the story uses cool villains and not just chumps, but Cyborg Superman and the Eradicator are way too over powered for this team and Rene would've been dead with one punch. That said I like the characters and it's nice to focus on ones who don't get much time to shine (especially Buddy) so I'm along for the ride as s more
