The fill in art was jarring at first but fine for a cool down/flashback issue. I liked the moments with Bruce and Thomas but the overexploitation of the bat bridge went on more than needed and the rest of the flashback stories weren't as compelling as the previous issues.

DWJ's story was great but the other two weren't that good.

This issue just blew me away. Non stop suspense til the end with so much heart for Bruce and Waylon's friendship to make such an over the top story carry so impactful. This series is some of Snyder's best work if not his best.

I love Jeff Lemire so I'm being patient with this story but the lack of progression is really starting to drag this down for me.

Great issue and really hope the main story starts to progress as the pacing has been far too slow.

Jeff Lemire is one of my all time favorite writers but man this series is really struggling from pacing. Just when things ramped up last issue to get things going, we're bogged down with a flashback issue that could've been shown in less pages and would've fit better in an earlier issue.

Finally some progression and interesting answers! I love Lemire but he should've tightened up the previous issues to get to this sooner and the series would be in a much better place. However this issue was great from everything with the rogues, Wally, and the reveal that Thawne played Barry which is why he seemed sketchy before. Really hoping Lemire keeps up this pacing as there's a lot of interesting things at play here.

I'm intrigued with where this is going but this issue didn't give much more information than we got in the last issue and really feels like Ewing is writing for the trade which is disappointing.

The lack of progression is killing my interest and hope things pick up.

I've been patiently optimistic for this story but I've totally lost interest and find this book is relying far too much on style over substance.

Dan Mora is one of my favorite artists of all time but I felt like the art got very confusing during the big action scenes which took away from the story's impact at times. Still a great issue and so curious to see how Jon makes out after this.

Solid issue with some great moments but the pacing was so fast to fully get immersed in the story. Mora's one of the best artists out there but some scenes got too chaotic to clearly identify what's happening.

I really liked this but the event was so rushed that everything happens too fast to carry as much emotional weight as it could have. This story could have been much better had it been 6 issues.

The first half of the issue was a bit of a slog to get through but once things pick up, we get some fantastic character moments and interesting stakes for the next issue.

Though the art wasn't really doing it for me, solid issue and it's great to see Kal has taken that next step of exemplifying hope. I also appreciated how Kal has gotten through to Ra's but Aaron kept things realistic where he still escapes and falls back to his nature which is far more realistic than a corny Grinch heart growing moment.

This series is some of Thompson's best work and she did such a fantastic job with the timing of these flashbacks weaved through out the current fight to really demonstrate Diana's nature.

Best issue from the new creative team and hope the books stays to this level. After being burnt by suffering through the terrible bonus stories, I skipped this one to not end a good issue with a bad taste in my mouth.

Amazing art but painfully boring story of characters that we have no connection to that were just as boring in their future state story.

Nice story with good heart felt moments but is such a cliché story that we've been getting too much of lately telling us what we already know, Superman is a good guy.

This book was clearly affected by Knight Terrors and Johnson was forced to rush this story to a quick ending which was very disappointing but he managed to still do a decent job wrapping it up.

If Johnson and Williamson can both maintain the quality of each series, this will go down as a special moment for classic Superman stories.

I typically don't like Jason Aaron books and get bogged down reading Bizarro talk, but this was a great start and I'm really liking everything Aaron's bringing to the table in DC so far. Seems he's been reinvigorated writing for DC and looking forward to this and Batman Off World continuing.

Disappointing read that felt very generic.

This issue was a vast improvement over the fist issue. Though the story plot isn't very interesting or original, Simone does a great job with Clark, Lois, and Jimmy's voices which added some much needed depth to the story. The back up was painful with Rowell's take on Lois. At least Rowell handled Clark properly rooting on the pogo stick girl.

This is one of those stories where a writer is more focused on their statement than the story and it instantly feels unauthentic. Which a shame as it takes away from genuine stories that can make impactful statements while telling a compelling story with natural voices/actions for the characters. The art is great though and I still like getting to see Clark do some detective journalism.

There's some interesting ideas here but the issue was a slog to read which is something I've found to be typical for Ridley's writing.

Mark Waid just gets Superman and Skylar Patridge's art is a perfect fit for the story.

I really liked all the character moments at the school and with the parents but the whole shift where Captain Comet was just testing Clark by betraying him after we explicitly saw him working with Lane felt very unnatural where the concept would've been fine without that scene in the previous issue.

I like what PJK is going for capturing those loving happy Kent family vibes at the farm but it just feels so unnatural how forced the relationship with the kids is written. I appreciate he's doing his best to give us those family moments we were robbed of by Bendis aging up Jon but it just doesn't work for me. I can take or leave the whole war world story but like PJK enough to see where this goes.

PKJ has a good grasp on Superman but his love of lore building continues to drag down his stories for me as this far future scenario just felt generic and nothing we haven't seen before. The final reveal with Jimmy was great though and makes me want to keep going along with the story.

Though the story isn't captivating me, PJK writes a great Clark so there's enough here to keep me interested.

This story just really does nothing for me but PJK writes a great Clark which gives me just enough to continue reading.

Ok issue but Taylor isn't delivering the great character work or dialog that he used to. Having Bruce say Superman killed his son was way out of line and almost took me right out of the issue.

I used to love Tom Taylor and held out hope he'd come to a satisfying end here but man what a waste of time. Not only do we not a get a satisfying conclusion to Jon or Injustice Superman's stories, but the whole issue felt like Tom Taylor apologizing for his Injustice work when anyone with a brain accepted it was an Elseworld's story. Nightwing started out great until it just became the perpetual "Nightwing is awesome" series without resolving major plots, his Jon Kent work's been ok, and Teen Titans has so far been disappointing with the writing quality of an average digital first. Shame he couldn't keep up the magic he brought to the table on Injustice, Unkillables, and the DCeased digital spin off.

It's been brutal not being able to read the Avengers for so long due to Aarons terrible run so was hoping we'd get something fun to tide people over until he's off the run but unfortunately this book was very mediocre and too chaotic to really have any good character beats.

I liked the horror vibe but this story just came out of nowhere from anything previously established for this hospital being sinister. Hopefully there's some follow up to explain further.

Though the whole beginning seemed offensively nonsensical, a few parts made me laugh so I can't criticize it that harshly. In the end the book got back to serious story telling again that led to major revelations for Ben to learn and should continue an intriguing story. Ziglar just needs to dial down on the attempted jokes that fail at comedy but excel at making great characters like Doc Oc, Colleen, and Misty come across as jokes. All said and done the book averaged out for a solid issue thanks to the end.

I'm a big Kelly Thompson fan for most of her books but this issue was just such nonsense full of terrible "jokes" for what should have been a big issue with healthy Peter back to work with Ben.

I was pumped for this run when it was announced Zeb Wells was the author as his Hellions run was amazing but I have to admit I was devastated to hear Romita Jr. would be the artist as I found his latest work on Superman to be jarringly terrible. That said I was pleasantly surprised the find that he really did a great job (for what his style is) on this #1 and hope coming back to Marvel is what he needed. Overall this was a solid first issue where there are a few off-putting things at play but knowing Zeb's previous work am confident will for a valid reason that will be addressed/resolved as the story unfolds. This issue does exactly what a first issue should do: spark curiosity, be entertaining, and give us an idea of where the series is headed. I will say I HATE how Marvel just won't let Peter & MJ be happily married as it clearly works brilliantly for Louis & Clark. Else world stories nail at how fun the family aspect of poppa Peter with lil' Annie can be a blast but unfortunately appears it doesn't seem that editorial will allow that for one reason or another though Miles already fills the slot as the young Spider-Man.

Was so excited for Zeb Wells' run on Spider-Man after his amazing Hellions run but so far the story is really lacking. Romita's art also doesn't help. I'm cool for waiting to find out what happened in the 6 months but this issue kind of dragged at points and Tombstone's feelings on Robbie & Randy are suddenly the exact opposite of where he was just at. Hope it all makes sense in the end.

Solid issue but an art change would be huge for this series.

Wow, this was bad. I was very optimistic for Zeb Wells' run but this issue makes me very nervous. Inferno was great for being a serious story with goofy elements but this shows Dark Web is trying to capture that but is failing by going so cheesy goofy even in the villains portrayals that there's no story to be invested in.

Wells never created a valid reason for Ms. Marvel to be shoehorned in this series and further didn't even include her in meaningful conversations to make her part of the story. Marvel editorial's agenda for a money grab to cash in on some attention and then change her to a mutant later on, is so transparent it's embarrassing. Meanwhile Spider-Man fan just keep taking the abuse. Struggling to even continue reading even via Marvel Unlimited.

I was shocked to actually enjoy this. Note that I read on Marvel Unlimited so my review doesn't reflect the cost of the issue. Wells has been way too "silly" in this series (especially the insufferable Inferno "event") but this issue toed the line enough on the goofiness to have some fun without being nonsense. Wells had a good balance of storytelling with comedic beats in Hellions but has yet to carry that quality over in this series. Hoping things pick up though I haven't loved many of the directions he's been going. I even liked most the back ups.

The Dark Web crossover was atrocious and completely ruined Limbo just making it a complete joke. Now bringing that awful story and characters back into the series just continues to drag this series down after being on a decent pace of late. Zeb Wells thinks his "clever" Bizarro Spider-Man character Rek-Rap is a hilarious hit, but is proving he should not be given the chance to write series for Marvel's top characters and should be kept for books like Deadpool.

This book is pretty ruff with some poor writing and nonsense that Well's just won't accept isn't funny at all. But the art is great and the Tombstone/Janice stuff was good.

Best issue in a while.

At least Nauck's art is fantastic.

Coming from a bad run, the main story finally has some excitement mostly thanks to Ed McGuinness' dynamic art. The main story is still flawed but certainly an improvement from previous issues. The short stories are your typical cliché stories lacking substance that vary from ok to poor.

Great art in general but the story and dialogue are brutally corny. Only issue with the art is how he seems to lean into the goofiness of the story. It's so disappointing that Marvel not only allows but embraces Wells run that doesn't take the title seriously. This feels like a goofy digital comics not the main series. Marvel's been struggling mediocre titles trying to be "fun" that just play off corny.

Hands down the best written issue of this awful run by Wells as he actually took an issue seriously and when he added comedy, it was actually funny. This felt like his writing on Hellions were I really enjoyed his work which initially had me excited he was given ASM. Hopefully he finally starts taking this run somewhat seriously for the remaining arc of his tenure.

Good but quick issue that further displays how unnecessary the last issue was to just overextend the story.

I really liked the moments with May and the moment with Peter and MJ talking about how much fun they have and care for each other but that just makes it more infuriating how Wells broke them up and created the lamest character Paul. Just glad Wells run is over but the last story by Kelly doesn't make me feel much better for what's to come.

The art is amazing but the writing is so bad. I struggled to barely keep reading through Zeb Wells run but this was just so clunky with awful banter and character writing that I'm done. Once marvel cares enough to give their biggest book a worthy writer, I'll come back to finally be able to enjoy reading my favorite marvel character again.

I really enjoyed the issue but did find some of the scenes like Yara being able to sneak into a top level Presidential meeting to be pushing it a little too far. The art was great too but there were some scenes that were a little confusing.

This book's just a good time and glad Josie Campbell was given the chance to write these characters. Perfect balance to the dry tone to King's Wonder Woman.

Though I doubt Tom King will make any of this book part of his main story in the end, I don't even care as Campbell does such a good job with these characters and this was such a fun read.

Jeremy Adams delivers another compelling story with plenty of fun and well written characters, hands down one of DC's best writers and nice to see it seems they've finally noticed (RIP to his Flash run). John Timms art is fantastic with tons of energy. Being a casual Aquaman fan, I'm thrilled to have such great writing and art to finally be excited for an Aquaman series.

This issue was just a blast with fantastic art. Adams is clearly bringing some Flash Gordon vibes to this story and I'm all for it.

Jeremy Adams excels at balancing fun with compelling stories while John Timms is putting out some of the best looking comics out there.

Lots of exposition.

Another drag of a boring issue further making a joke of the phoenix force and our loved characters with pointless fights and cliché tropes of characters saying things that feel off base for what we know of them. I was really liking the beginning of Aaron's run and was pumped to see where it was leading but the Moon Knight issues really seemed to be a bore and this arc has been especially brutal. Hoping we can get back to some better stories once this arc is finally over with.

I've read all Avengers issues since 2004 but will no longer read Avengers until Aaron is gone as this is just unacceptably awful and I read on Marvel Unlimited!

Finally the Avengers have been freed from clutches of Jason Aaron! Great first issue and so good to be able to read the Avengers again. Jed MacKay has a solid track record and so far seems to be the perfect fit for the book. Really looking forward to seeing where this story goes and what else he's got in store.

McKay really needs to spend some time slowing down and focus on character work which is what he's best at. Each issue has been quickly losing steam due to nonstop end of the world threats but having most of this issue be just a dream was really lame. The art was great and still keeping faith McKay finds his groove.

Finally MacKay has got a feel for the team and writing to his usual standards. Great balance of character moments, action, levity, and planting seeds for new threats. Glad I gave the series a second chance after being very disappointed early on.

Nice to have a break from the regular team and I actually found this team to be more fun compared to how flat the team feels in the MacKay's main story. Great to see Hazmat starting to show up more often as I was a big fan of Avengers Academy.

The story was so generic that I just felt like I was going threw the motions bored reading but there were some good banter/character moments but not as good as the previous issue.

Average story but some fun banter. Really liked having Hawkeye and Hazmat on the team where the cookie cutter team of the main story just hasn't been exciting.

Far and away the best thing MacKay has written for either his Avengers or X-Men runs. The characters' voices finally felt accurate and greatly appreciated a cool down conversation issue between the teams to set things up in the future.

Fun start of a heist story and looking forward to Felicia being in the next few issues as Mackay seems to be at his best writing her. On the other hand, Scarlet Witch constantly talking in the third person and self flossing was just pain full to read.

I really liked the moment Felicia got with her dad but the rest of the story just felt like a generic "the Avengers are awesome" story.

This series is just so mediocre and the constant reminders to the audience of how "great" each Avenger is has become insufferable and a bad trend that's dragged their books down post Bendis and Hickman's runs.

Though this series is nothing unique and exploring themes Cass has previously dealt with, I'm very grateful to have a book taking her (and Steph) seriously again after their off base childish portrayal in Batgirls.

This was a very ruff year for the Bat comics but this issue was the most offensive to what was done to Leslie here. Amazing editorial let this fly let alone anyone thought this was a good idea.

This issue shows what a critical piece Jorge Jimenez's art is to this run. I'm enjoying Tynion's run but do see how things get dragged out and parts feel boring or cheesy without being elevated by Jimenez's art.

Howard Porter is a talented artist with a dynamic feel but is just not for me. I could deal with it through Shadow War as the story was entertaining, but when paired with a mediocre story the combination was a disappointing issue.

This arc may be good but really struggles with bad timing. Batman being "dead" after just coming back in Crisis and too much multi-verse focus going on everywhere, really makes it hard to buy into another one. But the issue was interesting and better than what we're getting in Detective so I'm positive overall but would have been better if Zdarsky adjusted his plans accounting for what's just happened in the DCU.

I was really concerned having Tini Howard involved in this crossover as I don't feel any writer can salvage anything she's involved in but this issue somewhat tainted my feelings on Zdarsky's writing (who I find to be one of the best writers currently at the big 2). Dick Grayson saying Bruce needs to get off his "Moral Ledge" is practically blasphemy. Dick and Superman are supposed to be the moral compass of the DCU so he would never make such a statement of act like this. Just when it seemed the Bat-family was finally in a good place and getting along, we' thrown right into another rift that we keep seeing repeated through each writer's runs and it's getting so old and frustrating at this point. The Bat line is in dire need of a capable editor to manage the direction of these books and to challenge the writers to re-assess their ideas to get the most out of their potential. On a more positive note, it's so great to have Jorge Jimenez back on this book as his art style is amazing bringing so much life to it. Easily my favorite artist right now.

Thank god Gotham War is over and Zdarsky's run can continue without being dragged down by Tini Howard and Matthew Rosenburg's terrible writing. This issue gets right back to a compelling high stakes story with the Joker that nicely ties back the Chip's The Knight and Morrison's Zur-En-Arrh. Though the Joker can feel overplayed, the problem is with too many inept writers telling Joker stories so for me this is a breath of fresh air to have a capable writer using him. The back up is also great and nice to not only have Zdarsky writing it, but excellent that there's more to be done with Vandall Savage without being bogged down by the Gotham War. Jimenez's art is brilliant as always.

I'm not a fan of defining the Joker's past but the story of the past timeline does have my interest and presents some interesting ideas but I'm not really into the future timeline. The final issue has a lot of work to do to make this a worthwhile story and I really hope he sticks the landing.

This was an ok story for an early Gordon tale but it really hurt the series further ruining the flow of the main story.

Great issue finally bringing back some urgency and interest to the Zur story. The Joker Year One and Catwoman crossover really hurt the flow of this run and really hope we're past that and it stays on track.

This issue was fantastic and feel that my patience with this run is now being rewarded with some very compelling ideas and connections. I could feel my adrenaline pumping as the story progressed and was at the edge of my seat the whole read. Additionally, Jimenez's art is brilliant and elevates the issue to another level. Jimenez is not only my favorite current artist in comics but will go down as one of the best Batman artists in history which is murderers row of talent.

There were some awesome moments in this issue but the portrayal of Damian as being so naïve was just awful/unacceptable. Tim is clearly Zdarsky's favorite Robin which is fine and leads to great moments for him in this issue and throughout the run, but playing Damian like a fool isn't needed. I still was able to just accept it as I'm really into this story and Bruce finally has accepted he's stronger with his family.

This was a fantastic conclusion to a story that I was glad I gave some patience trusting Zdarsky had a plan and I felt he nailed it. Thought each Robin got their time to shine especially the moments with Jason and really just loved the whole issue. Great action, suspense, and most importantly for me emotional moments.

I was initially very skeptical on where this issue was going and didn't like the idea of "Bruce Jr." but as the issue progressed it opened a fantastic self examination for Bruce to reflect on his mistakes and what truly matters, family. After years of writers dragging Batman through the mud, pushing away his loved ones, and being broke; Zdarsky put in the work to get things back on track and unite the Batfam. I really hope his runs continues and with this focus post Absolute Power as it would be brutal for another writer head in another overplayed direction. This issue had so much heart in the end and was a highlight of recent Batman issues over the past few years.

It's a shame we have to sacrifice an issue of the current run for a "special milestone" issue that's nothing more in story than an annual would be. The story is basically the another typical generic story that is often found in annuals or milestone issues. That said, at least Zdarsky does a solid job in execution that it was a decent enough read where many of these type of stories lack any substance.

I'm a sucker for Bruce & Selina's relationship so this worked for me. Could've used a different scene than the beach where Tom King had them taking a vacation while Bane took over Gotham and killed Alfred though...

This issue is so rushed and all over the place that it takes away any sense of suspense or shock to the poor reveals. The issue further destroys all interesting plot points that were developed and has the biggest lack luster reveal at the end. Looking back, this series never really established a solid identity and looks like its heading for a disappointing conclusion. Its a shame as I was a huge fan of Zdarsky's Daredevil and The Knight but find he failed to deliver on many of the cool ideas he presented in his Batman run.

Amazing art but everything's so rushed and disjointed that each storyline's conclusion isn't satisfying and the emotional moments aren't earned.

Love the stuff with Leslie but everything with Jason was way off.

Jeff Loeb is one of my favorite Batman writers but this story if awful. Just a huge mess of character regression for each of the Bat-family members and the in family fighting is so played out.

Continues this awful story with characters acting ridiculous for no reason. Continuity issues aside, this story would be just as bad if it were an else world series. Only saving grace is Lee's art and parts of the interaction with Catwoman.

I like everything being laid out but thought Bruce removing the cowl went a little too far. I also didn't love the take of Bruce initially not believing people can change when he clearly does having accepted plenty of redeemed characters into the Bat-family including his own son.

It's nice to see Vandal Savage as commissioner finally have a meaningful effect on the story but the rest of the issue was just ok. I felt the flash backs really didn't hold any value, besides feeling unnatural with the timeline, the whole learning to drive angle didn't really execute the fatherly bonding feels it was trying to achieve. My biggest gripe was Bruce just leaving the shot gun right next to that cop after he clearly established he's unhinged.

I like all the set up going on but have a lack of enjoyment due to too many comics of late treading water or mainly being all conversation without any excitement (i.e. Ultimate Spider-Man). The set up is all good and works fine especially only being at issue 3 but my biggest concern is with some of the character work, especially with Damien. That scene felt too contradictory to where Damien is now, and I worry Fraction may not have a grasp on Damien. Not only is he currently seeking to pursue a medical career but also has a deep passion for creating his own comics which has been a strong focus of Williamson and PJK's fantastic work evolving Damien. This scene was just enough off character that I fear there may be a lack of understanding the character leading to a character regression which would be devastating.

The dialogue is a bit much and is so unnatural trying to be witty banter (is this a date? I never said it was a date. *cringe*) but the overall story is fun and the new villain is interesting and the whole issue just looks amazing! Jimenez somehow just keeps getting better and he's already been my favorite current artist (along with Mora) since Tynion's run. All that said the final scene with Damian was just awful and totally shows a lack of character knowledge or just not caring to make your story work. Zeller was clearly on the roof so there's no way Damian didn't see her there and would never make a flub like that. Just really took me out of the issue and left a bad taste in my mouth when this moment could have been done with some more care.

This series is so up and down throughout each issue for me. Jimenez's art is incredible as always, there's some good action, and I like Hugo being involved. Yet we keep getting small moments of villains that have yet to amounted to anything. By issue 6 it would be nice if there was at least some progression in one of the many plotlines with the villains. It all just feels so scattered. But the main problem I have is the offensively excruciating regression of Damien that total contradicts recent and even current ongoing stories where Damien is well past this. The mistake was so forced but I can roll with it but the whole scene with Tim was such a regression especially when the current focus of the PJK series is all about Damien wanting more than just being Robin and/or a future Batman. The over the top scene with Bruce brutally scolding him was also a bit much and also so contradictory to Batman & Robin. Plus the tender moment with Tim later made this seem even worse in retrospect. Then having Tim putting his Robin role on hold felt somewhat hollow and would have felt more authentic if we saw a few moments with him and Bernard and/or how its putting a strain on their relationships. So far it just feels like Fraction has ideas set in his head without any care of them being accurate to current continuity. This is something that should and could easily be fixed with some editorial guidance.

Officially the last Tom King book this guy will ever be reading.

Mora's art is amazing and such a blast to have Grant revisiting some of his old creations, embracing the golden age cheese he loves, cosmic concepts, and bringing himself into the tale like the legendary Animal Man series. Aside from the great story from Taylor for Nightwing/Wolverine (and Gabby thank god!) the rest weren't anything of note. Aside from Mora the art looked rushed especially for Redondo who did such a great job on Nightwing. What a pleasant surprise! These holidays specials are usually weak but this is fun with great art and Parker has the characters' voices spot on.

This issue was tons of fun. Wein does a great job telling a silver age style story but well written.

I'm a big fan of Gene Luen Yang and think every human should read his perfect Superman Smashes the Klan and have also been enjoying his latest Shang Chi runs, but his start to this series has been a huge disappointment. The fantastic art and occasional funny lines just aren't enough to make up for what's feeling more and more over a jumbled story that's losing my interest more each issue. Hopefully once this arc is done the series picks up.

This book is just so good. Amazing art, perfect storytelling, and good ol' comic fun.

I'm loving this series with such fun writing and amazing art, but had to go down a little here with all the wonkiness of them merging with the ring because... magic? But the result looks so cool that I can run with it.

First story was fun but diminishing returns on each one as it went on.

The story itself was fun but Dan Mora's art is on a whole other level and is some of the best art I've ever seen. This series is truly special with the combo of Mora's breathtaking art and Waid's fantastic voice for these characters.

The story is a blast but Mora's art is just breath taking. This is a truly special run with the dynamic duo of Waid and Mora firing on all cylinders.

Though I fell this arc is an issue too long to keep me interested, Mora's art is just so amazing I really can't complain.

This issue was tons of fun and was not only the first issue with Mark Russell involved that I've ever enjoyed let alone been able to tolerate. He still couldn't help himself repeating some bag gags that fell flat but all in all this was the fun one off this series needed after running stale of late.

This issue was tons of fun. This series has really felt stagnant for a while but this issue finally takes an interesting angle for something fresh. Hopefully the story keeps up this pace and the series will end at issue 50 on a high note than continue on with more mediocrity.

This was such a disappointment to wrap things up already and just didn't hold up to the previous issue. The Mark Russell cowriting also made some of the dialogue jarring for Batman.

This book is a breath of fresh air compared to Gotham War and the played out rift amongst the bat family that's been a never ending cycle for too long in recent runs. Though his recent "events" have been awful, Joshua Williamson has done such great work with Damian and he truly understands the character so I'm hoping he continues to write enough Damian stories that other writers will pick up on what makes him so great. My only problem with the issue was the art. The artist clearly has talent and I love anime influenced style but there's something about it that's hard to follow at times and took away from the issue. It seems to zoom in too far during the action and you can't good sense of what's going on.

Decent issue but I'm still struggling with the art making scenes difficult to follow what's happening.

The story is fun but the art is too distracting and taking away from the story.

I love the dynamic between Damian and Bruce, but there are some really corny things happening such as Man-Bat not dying because he was preserved in a cocoon due to all the formulas he's taken. Also making Man-Bat the "big bad" with Shush as his stooge, really make that character a chump and will be awful if she actually ends up being Damian's former teacher.

Fun issue to get some character work for Damian at school but really hope the principal is actually reformed and the Shush story has a satisfying reveal. Was also pleased that the art was much better here than before and seems to lend itself far better to more traditional coloring.

The first half was mediocre and the whole Shush & Manbat story is weak but the second half was great and I'm all about the feels between Bruce & Damian bonding. Hyped for next issue to get more Flatline too.

All the super hero parts of this series just continue to be a complete mess but Williamson continues to delivery lots of fan series heart felt moments while bringing back important characters from Damian's past making this series a must read for me.

A little cheesy but still a fun time with dinosaurs plus it's appreciated how Williamson keeps bringing back characters from previous stories with Damian.

Lots of fun with solid character beats with a somewhat goofy/rushed story telling but overall a fun read. Plus you can't go wrong with Dino-riders!

There were some really great moments here that were tainted by PKJ extending the ideas too far such as the Harvey moment. Each Robin had that critical Harvey confrontation early on so I loved this line but then he had Jason go on saying his moment was a civilian falling which tainted the line. Similar issue with them being Robin so Batman would love them which was fine early on but he wrote Jason saying how still talk about this being issue with Batman where this should be in the past for the other Robin's. The hot mic scene was jarring too as Batman wouldn't have the comms set up so any Batfam member can just listen in at any moment. This was especially bad as Jason and Bruce were standing next to each other and head no need for comms. Aside from all my nit pics, the art was great and I still really liked the issue and the story we're dealing with but could do without the overplayed Batman & Robin butting heads trope of late.

Though the story is being dragged out far too long, I'm still enjoying each issue. Just a shame as this could've been great with less issues.

Great ending but this story would've been so much stronger if it wasn't dragged out over so many issues.

The father son moments with Damien are fantastic and PKJ has a great understanding of Damien so I really appreciate him continuing Williamson's work at fleshing the character out. The new villain is interesting and I can never get enough of the Penguin so really looking forward to where the story goes.

This was such an excellent issue and shows what PJK is capable of. I like his writing but find he gets so bogged down in lore that it often kills any momentum to, or even interest in, his stories yet his character work and general concepts are fantastic. If he learns to consolidate the lore to his stories and tighten up the amount of issues for a story, he'll be a great writer. I felt this issue was really firing on all cylinders. The character work between Bruce & Damien was fantastic, all the character voices were authentic, the pacing was perfect, the angle of Damien & the "strays" continues to be awesome, the concept of the quiet man is cool & the reveal wasn't brutally dragged out (like the last story), and the Penguin, Harvey, & Ventriloquist are 3 of my favorite Bat-villains so really enjoying how this is going.

This arc is far and away the best thing PKJ has ever written and the end reveal was fantastic. Penguin, Two-Face, and Ventriloquist are three of my favorite villains so this story is just checking off all the boxes for me. Great call to have a subtle character like the quiet man hunting them down as I don't think the story would be as effective with some verbose character hunting them down. Only minor gripe with the issue is the street kids are starting to be a bit much and though the art is great, Damien looks off character. Really hoping PJK sticks the landing on this are it'll be a trade worth collecting.

This stories been great and is far away Johnson's best work. Hopefully it comes to a satisfying conclusion next issue and Johnson doesn't drag it out too long which is unfortunately the norm for him. Ossio's art is fantastic too and draws an excellent Scarface & Wesker.

Great ending to what's not only the best arc I've read from PKJ but also one of my favorite Batman stories of the last few years. Perfect blend of classic villains being swept up in a conflict with a new villain/vigilante while doing great work on Damien's growth as a person. I'll certainly be picking this up in a trade and recommend to anyone. Only nit pick is the "pretty brave" comment from Bruce was being cringy and would sound so condescending to Damien. That's something to say to a little kid he saves at best. Now we just need someone to give this story (amongst plenty of other recent runs) to Matt Fraction asap before he continues his brutal regression of Damien in the current Batman book.

This book has tons of potential with a fun team with ranging personalities but all the jumping around in this first issue took away from the flow so I'm hoping with the plot now established, the next issue will improve.

This is a fun series but is way too busy with too many things going on to focus on any character development.

I'm a sucker for Scarface so I've been optimistically hoping Waters would have a satisfying ending but this issue was very clunky and didn't deliver just like the end of the last arc.
