Weapons of Vengeance is a Marvel event done right. No world-ending plot is needed, just a demonic invasion that is at as small of a scale as that can be. Read Full Review

The Weapons of Vengeance gives readers exactly what they want out of a Wolverine and Ghost Rider crossover and then some but it is a shame it only lasted four issues. Because of this, it feels like there are a lot of great ideas crammed into a small space. Read Full Review

The crossover cruises to a satisfying if somewhat predictable end. This is the kind of plot that sinks or swims based entirely on the storytelling attached to it. Fortunately, it gets creepy, powerful art and tough, sharp prose. Content and talent are all of an equal quality, landing this squarely in "good comic" territory.

Was a very generic story, but it really did have some cool visuals.

This felt like a pointless crossover, but it was never boring, at least.

I was hoping for a stronger conclusion, but this was still good for what it was. I do wish there was either a little more substance to this, or perhaps that it was just more fun. Perhaps even both simultaneously. Either way, I do feel like a crossover between these two should have been a bit better, especially considering that Percy is more than capable of writing really good stuff. Like I said, this was far from bad. However, I was hoping for more from this.

Benjamin Percy and Geoff Shaw's heavy metal adventure featuring Wolverine and Ghost Rider has been quite the ride. Weapons of Vengeance Alpha was as strong start to the mini-event, introducing an intriguing storyline and featuring some really fun art. Ghost Rider #17 came next, filling in backstory with an interesting introspection on it's titular character and laid the groundwork for a showdown. Then came last week's Wolverine #36 which sloppily cranked the storyline up several notches in a rushed manner. Unfortunately, the mini-event's finale, GHOST RIDER/WOLVERINE WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE OMEGA #1, continued that trend and the story fell apart under it's own weight. Things pick up with Hellverine (the newly possessed Wolverine) enacting more
