Tamra Bonvillain's color work is gorgeous. With even more characters to work with, Bonvillain has an even more exciting color palette to unleash. Letterer Ariana Maher does fun layouts with the sound effects. Waid throws in a little twist at the end that's hopefully just a red herring. Justice League Unlimited #1 is every bit as exciting and fun as it sounded. With this creative team locked in, it doesn't seem a stretch that this could quickly become DC's top title. I had my apprehensions about an Unlimited style of Justice League, and frankly, I still do. But this issue does a fantastic job of realizing the idea of such a League. While the plot is generic, there are some solid hooks, especially around the character of Air Wave, who looks to be a key character moving forward. I will look forward to seeing if the new series can maintain this level of quality in the upcoming issues. Read Full Review

Mark Waid does it again!
Waid does it again.
My friends, we have defeated the deviant Gabe Hernandez.
He gave this a 9.5.
Somebody has clearly spiked his office water with MDMA as he is uncharacteristically feeling the love.
The GH protest continues!
Super energetic kick-off, fantastic artwork, and flawless intertwining of plots. Probably the strongest All-In book outside of the Absolute Universe!
Justice League is back! I loved the Justice League Unlimited back in the day. There are several things that I really loved about this comic. The story that they are setting up, sounds amazing. The art in this is top notch! The creative team on this hits this one out of the park. My favorite panel on this book is with AIRWAVE & Flash as they are hitting top speed. There is also quite the cliffhanger at the end, that I should have seen coming, but was pleasantly surprised.
Mark Waid kills it again. While it is repetitive to see a "traitor" the art and the chemistry between the Justice League is infectious.
Im excited for the future of this title. Waid continues to fire on all cylinders. I look forward to JLU moving forward. I usually dislike "team" books, as characters often drown in the noise, but for now I'm excited. Also, I'd watch Dan Mora draw stick people.
I was quite disappointed with the story in this issue, but the art by Mora continues to be great. There's far too much going on here with characters literally flying in and out. There's a natural disaster and a quick introduction to the villains without any real story. And since when can the emotional spectrum heal someone of a fatal wound? I must have missed something. I'm going to get the next issue, but I'm not very hopeful after this start.
