It's a 5 star finale for Batman vs. Robin as Waid circles the story back around to its titular characters. Wrapping up much of Lazarus Planet, the story keeps its sense of grandeur but hones in perfectly on Bruce and Damian. Unexpected twists keep the reader on their toes and bring this cataclysmic event to a close with a fist pumped high in the air WE ARE BATMAN!

It's clear that Williamson has a plan for Oliver and the rest of the Green Arrow cast but at the same time he isn't revealing all his plans right away. The various elements feel more balanced this month as the story digs in to its Dawn of DC connections and sets up some interesting storytelling for next month.

Taylor takes all the sensibilities which have made Nightwing the #1 DC title and applies that to a group of characters who have been crying out for a blockbuster title of their own. There's a tough road ahead and the Titans have big shoes to fill. But under this creative team I have no doubt that Titans will be a huge success.
