This book has really emphasized their friendship in a nice waybut let's be honest, it feels like a lot more than friendship at times and I would love to see DC actually take the leap and confirm that in the coming year. ‘Batgirls' might have reached the end of Bat Girl Summer, but the fall and beyond for these characters is just as bright and awesome. Becky Cloonan and Michael W. Conrad bring their third arc to a close, handily launching their fourth as well as bringing several strong moments of character development to the cast. Batgirls #12 brings the hunt for the Hill Ripper to an end with a respectable amount of dramatic tension, plenty of action, and a decent conclusion to the killing spree.
