Power Rangers Prime owe#1 presents a bold new direction for the franchise. Melissa Flores is throwing off the shackles of 30 years of storytelling and forging her own path. This opening chapter presents an unpredictable and enticing first look at a world of possibilities with no major hints as to the direction of travel. Side-stepping the various TV versions of the colour-coded heroes has reinvigorated the Power Rangers in ways I could not have anticipated. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett Nov 13, 2024

Power Rangers Prime #1 is an interesting start. It presents a world occupied. The heroes we knew are now considered villains. The occupiers have brought peace and are welcoming to aliens, humans, refugees, and there seems to be a rather safe world, as long as you don't break the rules. People, generally, don't seem to be suffering, and there's a nice aspect to it all. Unlike Marvels “Ultimate” line and DC's “Absolute,” Power Rangers Prime #1 doesn't seem to tread into dark and gritty and instead, the rulers come with a smile and handshake. It's a world that seems to have slid into fascism and authoritarian rule as opposed to being conquered. It's a different take on a concept that seems to be popular right now in comics. Coming from someone who grew up fondly with Power Rangers in the 90s & onward including other “Saban” Heroes. Brings me so much joy with their Ultimate/Absolute approach in this new universe which I think it’s clever on their part to bring old & new fans in. Hope for all the success for this title.

This is a brand new era for Power Rangers after Ryan Parrott, and I got to say the new story-telling on how different it is compared to the OG Mighty morphin power rangers got me hooked
