Nice to have a breather issue that dives abit into Mark’s backstory without revealing too much. Curious who his parents actually are with what very little we’ve gotten here & where this leads the VR Troopers potentially next with their interrogation towards a captured Mark. Also can’t wait for the FCBD Flipbook this weekend & especially Issue 7 in June for obvious reasons. *points at Baby T-Rex Zord* more

After a number of shenanigans later. Finally got my copy of Issue #5 and have read it. Will say…it is honestly the best issue so far. Alot has happened here which makes the last 4 issues of set up feel more worth it. We finally have our 1st 5 Prime Rangers which the suits look AWESOME, Rita is slowly filling in that Zordon role & makes you curious what the VR Troopers will do next that will eventually lead into their own spin-off title. more

Like how we are starting to get a better first idea where this title is heading while leaving rest of the room for guessing.

Coming from someone who grew up fondly with Power Rangers in the 90s & onward including other “Saban” Heroes. Brings me so much joy with their Ultimate/Absolute approach in this new universe which I think it’s clever on their part to bring old & new fans in. Hope for all the success for this title.

If juvenile humor and ultraviolence are your thing, this book is a 10/10 for you. The art is great and the writing perfectly fits the tone. The humor is funny and doesn't feel forced, the story is mostly standard stuff for a book like this but still interesting. Anyone buying a Lobo book knows what they're getting into, and this is a great example of it. And that's a Lobo fact.
