Sherman and Bellaire are doing something with the visuals that seems every bit as distinctive as what Thompson is doing with the scripting. Diana has met minotaurs before. Shes been in a labyrinth on more than one occasion as well. Shes been in search of lost Amazons. Theres nothing new about basic components of the story that Thompson and company are conjuring. I like the introduction to Ferdinand here. I haven't seen him since Greg Rucka's run. I really dislike Sherman's art for this book. He is dragging it down. If they were smart, they would swap him out fast. I also like the Amazonian being evil. Nice twist. This is the Kelly Thompson best run of her life.
