Comic Watch - Dylan Davison Aug 28, 2024

Overall, Williams and the incredible artists, colorists, and other talents involved in this series had big shoes to fill, and they did so with flair, adding their own unique touch to this special team. I truly hope we see more of the Sirens from Williams and the rest of this creative team. Gotham City Sirens holds a special place in my heart, as it was the last and only series I picked up before the New 52 reboot, and I spent countless hours rereading those issues. This mini-series is one for the history books, with Ivy, Harley, Catwoman, and White Rabbit truly shining. Thank you, Williams, for bringing back my favorite team. Read Full Review

There are a lot of topical things here that remind me a bit of the work of Mark Russell in places, but with an energy that definitely fits the chaotic legacy of the Gotham City Sirens. Read Full Review

DC's grand Gotham City Sirens experiment makes a smooth landing. A fun blast of storytelling which certainly proves there's still an audience for this all-female team up. This four-part/four-week structure could certainly provide a cool blueprint for other limited series in the future. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Jonathan Cadotte Aug 31, 2024

There was definitely some humor and some zaniness here, but it felt restrained and held back, which unfortunately left this issue feeling a bit lackluster. Read Full Review

What the actual F was that art? That is some of the most phoned in, poorly done art I have seen in a while. It ruined the story for me (not that this was a strong issue to begin with). It is like they got to this issue and went 'hey lets get my 7 year old to draw this issue. Character faces are all wonky, details are almost non-existent and dialogue boxes are kind of weird.

Even with a perfect story, with how bad this art is, it wasnt going to get more than a 6.5/10.
Art is like a 1/10. You should feel bad for submitting such poor work.

Now onto the story. It was a below average ending for sure. Everything suddenly goes the way for the 'heroes' with little logic, just 'because the plot demanded it'. Insert jokes t more
