Continuing the backstory of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return universe, we get more insight into Seline's origin as Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa's daughter. In the process we see how this mini-series takes elements from the recent Once & Always special. The only big hiccups were the fact of how easily the other power coins were obtained. Giving Selena the atypical twisted story of who saved them as a baby seems also like it was an easy write off but hopefully that will be resolved later. It also leaves so much story on WHO raised her and HOW did she come into her own powers? These are all simple answers lets hope that the next few books are paced right to tie up the loose ends and not have to leave big plot holes to fill IF we get another chapter after this arc. I like the concept and idea of this story. I just do not feel like the writing is doing this story justice. The art can only do so much but there are definitely holes in the script that should be filled up and maybe if this story was longer it could have been. Read Full Review
