I'm not sure yet if this is going to equal or even rival the two masterpieces that came before it, but this is off to a promising start and it'll be interesting to see how the art shifts throughout and how the continuity between issues builds. Read Full Review

Issue #2 of The Last Halloween was another solid read. It might not have reached the highs of issue #1, but I'm still intrigued to find out what happens next. Klaus Janson was the MVP, and Jeph Loeb is crafting a mystery that leaves me wanting more and that's still worth of The Long Halloween's legacy. Onto issue #3 and happy Halloween to all the ghouls out there. Read Full Review

Batman: The Long Halloween - The Last Halloween #2 is another solid entry in the series. Klaus Janson and Dave Stewart are great additions and capture a certain era of Batman comics. The series is still getting going so not much has happened, and so far things have been predictable. Its been twenty years since readers have returned to this story, and that gap is felt. However, it works as a great way to honor Tim Sale while contributing to an iconic saga. Read Full Review
Loeb perfection. I'm just ecstatic we're getting this at all. That it's so we'll written is a bonus!
I'm surprised Loeb still has it in him to do great comics. Not really a knock at the guy, it's just he's been gone soooooo long. Great work on story and art.
Good book. It's not the cleanest or most efficient storytelling, but it's still a great story. The art was pretty good and the writing was great. I feel like I'd enjoy it much more in trade format when it's done, but I'll keep reading it monthly then probably reread it as a finished product in about eight months heh.
