WHAT. A. READ. Hilarious, appropriate, outstanding.
Crazy. Absolutely insane. I love it.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!
THIS IS INSANE!!!
Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta manage to elevate to new heights as the towering scope of Ark M’s transgressions comes into view. the horror and madness wrought on its inhabitants Bruce included is truly mind boggling.
Scott Snyder’s script is a triumph and Nick Dragotta’s art is perfect for the story unfolding in Absolute Batman. This isn’t just a good Batman book it is becoming one of the best comic books in the market full stop.
This is the second chapter of Snyder’s opus, his best work since “The Court of Owls” 14 years ago. Truly terrifying and horrific, not to mention heartbreaking when we see what Ark M has done to poor Waylon. I have no idea what’s coming next, and I LOVE that!
Wow.
Snyders storytelling is simply thrilling. I love these character variants. The experiments Batman went through? Does he have powers now or will he?
His friendship with Croc resonates with me. The brutality of the experiments are as fascinating as they are soul destroying.
Also, it seems this Batman gets up to mischief with Selina in a way Prime Batman seldom does.
The core cast cast is so well done. Enemies in normal continuety, now not only his closest friends...
They are actually in on the Batman gig. I've wanted a fresh Batman take for many years and Synder is delivering every issue.
I just find reading it exhilarating in a way that other comics can't replicate. I more
A brilliant issue that doesn't let up.Comic of the year by far.
Best issue of the series so far.
honestly took me a couple of re-reads because it was slightly abstract, but I appreciate it more and more. I just love how entertaining and metal this is. Absolute Killer Croc reminds me of Lizard in Amazing Spider-Man's Shed story. This Batman is so metal and hardcore, I love it. I like how this Batman feels very different from New 52 Batman, and how even though its the same writer its still very distinct and feel fresh.
I will say Absolute Batman is personally the most entertaining and arguably the most consistent. Definitely a modern classic hands down. I was bit surprised and confused from the ending of last issue to the beginning, but after re-reading it again it made sense
