Very sadly and lazily written in my opinion. "Death Metal" ended up a farcry from what "Metal" was (really just a shoehorn for 'Future State'). Terrible that the series actually opens up with an excellent issue, they really could have saved everyone a lot of time by just hitting the reset button right then and there. RIP
