Robert E Howard would be proud of what Zircher has done with his Solomon Kane character.Thus story is getting better with each issue.

Total heartbreak.Simon is going to tear Benadict a new one.The end of this book made me angry/sad for Mr.Pure.

Plot
Simon Pure is immortal, but he struggles to learn from his mistakes, and instead of being a divine gift, it feels more like a punishment. The vision of immortality presented in this comic is unique and honest. Set against the backdrop of the birth of the United States as a nation, it features real-life characters in extraordinary situations filled with mysteries and paranormal phenomena , where the origin of Simon's power has an explanation that transcends the science we know.

This volume includes three story arcs.

The first, from issue #1 to #7, narrates the hero's journey of this unconventional character: a deserter, a charlatan, a rogue, a womanizer, and incredibly clumsy, with an endearing naiveté that will steal your heart. The narrative pace is thrilling, and the dialogue is a delight. Among all the characters and stories that make up this first arc, the story revolves around the friendship between Simon and a teenage Albert Einstein.

The second arc, spanning issues #8-11, features three distinct, self-contained stories where Simon encounters legendary figures from American history who lived during the Revolutionary War, such as Annie Oakley and Johnny Appleseed. A story about the war reveals other psychopathic criminals operating undetected, where Simon's naiveté, clumsiness, and overconfidence lead him into and out of trouble.

The third arc, from issues #12-14, introduces THE NORTHERNER, a mysterious time traveler attempting to halt a terrible historical shift orchestrated by another traveler named Mr. Cobbler.

THE NORTHERNER hails from an alternate future where the South wins the American Civil War. His goal is to prevent this temporal change because the United States as a nation will never be born, which would mean Simon's death. The Northerner and Simon Pure connect with Geiger and Junkyard Joe in a way that is significant and pivotal to the UNNAMED universe.

The narrative, which blends historical facts with elements of magic realism, makes this volume entertaining, educational, and brilliant.

This giant size deluxe edition includes a wealth of bonus material about the creative process behind this masterpiece.

Great stuff

Ghost Machine continues to entertain.Introducing new character's with loads of new adventures ahead.

Another great issue leading us to more questions than answers but it's been a fun ride getting here.This issue brings a lot together and ends on another great cliffhanger.

Plot
NASA and the U.S. Army send a spacecraft to find Colonel Taylor's mission, which mysteriously disappeared. The pilot is named Arch.

This spacecraft is intercepted by a Yautja ship, which shoots them down, and both crash on a planet. There, they are greeted by humanoid apes named Cornelius and Zira, who claim to be friends of Taylor (the character from the original film, played by Charlton Heston).

But the wounded Yautja also kills the last surviving soldiers for wearing the U.S. flag on their uniforms. Pilot Arch is the only survivor.

Meanwhile, General Ursus and Dr. Zaius are planning the extermination of primitive humans.

Arc is about to be attacked by ape soldiers when the Predator eliminates them. Apparently, there is no hunting pattern yet.

General Ursus arrives with his army and surprises Arch, Cornelius, and Zira.

An excellent crossover between these two universes, which have impacted pop culture in different ways and now coexist in this story that starts off very well.

Artwork
It's detailed, offering a retro technological vision that captures the comics of the 1980s, a decade in which both franchises had different comic book sagas. It's magnificent, with a color palette reminiscent of the film versions of both universes.
