So far I'm really enjoying this new direction of the series. The world and characters that PKJ has created is one that I really like spending time in. Especially when Damian introduces Jon to the Gotham Irregulars. Both story and art this is the best ongoing Batman title at the moment. And I'm standing by my claim that this series has been far more entertaining than the new supposed Batman relaunch.

Still the best Batman book out there. It remains a mystery why Bruce won't give the homeless kids some money. That seems out of character. Other than that, this is a good issue. I like Clark and Jon showing up and the story progression with the Ventriloquist. The Quiet Man is turning out to be a good villain. I just hope Johnson doesn't draw this one out like he did the last arc. My Comic Review Channel - https://youtu.be/0w73psI09Rs

Good writing interspersed with some rough storytelling in places, all tied together with some very sketchy, almost ugly, artwork. It's hard to believe that Bruce is plagued by so much self-doubt when it comes to raising Damian after all these years and adventures, particularly during the Josh Williamson run. I did enjoy the new update for Arnold Wesker, who's seemingly rehabilitated, but probably not for long. Ossio's artwork fails to support the story during key emotional moments. He also has trouble with certain characters, mainly Jon Kent, as well as Damian in places.
