This heartwarming issue progresses the story and really hits home the weight of being a father. Not just any father though, a superhero father to a superhero son. We see Bruce and Clark comparing notes on how to raise a boy in the world they live in with crime being everywhere, and the opportunity for a normal life seemi Read Full Review

So far I’m really enjoying this new direction of the series. The world and characters that PKJ has created is one that I really like spending time in. Especially when Damian introduces Jon to the Gotham Irregulars.

Both story and art this is the best ongoing Batman title at the moment. And I’m standing by my claim that this series has been far more entertaining than the new supposed Batman relaunch.

Good writing interspersed with some rough storytelling in places, all tied together with some very sketchy, almost ugly, artwork. It’s hard to believe that Bruce is plagued by so much self-doubt when it comes to raising Damian after all these years and adventures, particularly during the Josh Williamson run. I did enjoy the new update for Arnold Wesker, who’s seemingly rehabilitated, but probably not for long. Ossio’s artwork fails to support the story during key emotional moments. He also has trouble with certain characters, mainly Jon Kent, as well as Damian in places.
