Adams provides a solid Aquaman title but I wish he would find that spark from the first issue and carry it through month to month. Read Full Review
Great Conclusion
Aquaman #8 was a spectacular conclusion to the “blue” story! The focused moved entirely on to Arthur and that was a perfect choice as this was his battle to fight. Starting with a flashback to one of Arthur’s early attempts to be a hero was a nice way to open the issue and set the tone for what was to come in this book and I believe what will happen in the next. Three major deaths were featured in this and the last issue … will they stick or will Arthur somehow reverse time? I dare not speculate. For now I will just sit back thankful for the incredible ride. If you are not reading this Aquaman run because the character has a spotty history … you are doing yourself a disservice - this is the BEST book DC is publishing.
