Finally, what I've been waiting for.
Beyond my surprise, Zan was a needed touch to the team
Compared to the last issue, the other characters got more time to shine
This time matter is interesting too
Definitely going to pick up the next issue
Aquaman has caught my interest AGAIN!
The confrontation with Dagon looms as Aquaman and his band of fighters near theend of their quest, revealing a heartbreaking reality that will change Aquamanforever.
Love what they are doing with him here
Seeing Aquaman finally using alatian magic and Blood Bending?!
Awesome to see and great art we have to the start of this journey
Love seeing Aquaman get stronger, and for what comes next
ATLANTIS...OBLITERATED! After the shocking events of Aquaman #1, Arthur Curry is now a king without a home! But is hope truly lost? The answer lies in Aquaman's mysterious new water-morphing abilities, and a portal into the unknown. Earth's uncanny undersea hero must train like never before to stand a chance of recovering Atlantis from its untimely...
Love the art and action. The power up that Aquaman has with the trident that can change between sword and Trident, I dig.
Some of the pages made me look for a while because of how beautiful they were
Great visuals/Great Action
BETRAYAL IN SHIFTING WATERS! Aquaman heads upstream to uncover the mystery around the infection of the blue...so why does that spark an unholy alliance with a mermaid assassin? And what on earth (or otherwise) does that have to do with sky pirates and prophecies?! Revelations run wild as our hero looks for a way home before he's seduced by the grea...
I do still like the art, and the colors have always been solid and fit for the vibe of the folklore/epic of this Aquaman.
As someone who has been enjoying this run, I admit I am getting a bit tired of this
The characters around Arthur don't seem to have anything important to do. 6 issues in and no telling where the hell Arthur's family is. It felt like a pit stop issue, like more
Can the power of Thalassa, the Trilance Saber, be enough to unite Aquaman and hispeople?! It’d better be, because if King Arthur is to have a prayer of seeing Atlantisagain, he’s going to need to hurry! The mystery of the pearl deepens, the powerof the Dark Tide grows, and a major step on the path to the next big DCU event istaken in this epic ...
Really enjoyed this issue.
Put even more respect for Aquaman, and this story really feels like a wild adventure.
Love the banter in this issue and how even with everything seeming so unfair, the might of Aquaman is more than enough to handle it.
Arthur’s quest to save his people has hit a devastating dead end…but hope is notlost! Together with the Wizard Arion, Aquaman must channel the incredible powerof Thalassa the Trilance Saber to escape the dungeon barge descending into the blueand uncover the last desperately needed clue to save the people of Atlantis! Butfloating amongst all thi...
NEW POWERS, NEW MISSION...THE KING IS BACK, BABY! In the wake of Absolute Power, Arthur Curry's powers have evolved to powerful new heights, and this is one king ready to use them to kick some serious butt. Mammoth water-construct Kaijus have emerged from each of the seven seas, and only Aquaman's water-warping abilities can stop them--but not if t...
This was a great story. Seeing Bane's motivations and what drives him makes him truly scary. I love that Snyder is reinforcing the absolute (no pun intended) intelligence of Bane. After seeing multiple iterations of Bane just become a roid muscle head, I love this is what we got.
The art was great, and I love the full narration of Alfred, urging Bruce, This will be a losing battle, sho more
Learn the origin of Bane! What drives the muscle-bound behemoth, and how did he arrive in Gotham?
As someone new to Fantastic Four, this issue was alright. First off, the first issue being set in another Marvel event felt unfair and doesn't feel like a faithful first issue.
I do not like the Johnny mustache, and my only assumption would be to make him seem older. But that would be unnecessary.
The story of them being split up, I will admit, made me curious about what the more
A NEW ERA FOR MARVEL'S FIRST FAMILY! The FANTASTIC FOUR return with a new issue #1, kicking off a whole new volume of their adventures through time, space, science and the human condition! When the Fantastic Four take on Doom, things go well until they suddenly go catastrophically wrong - and they're sent to four different eras in Earth's history! ...
Although the front of the book is a little engagement bait, I did enjoy this issue.
As someone who has read some of New 52 Aquaman, I feel like this story is a more mystic and mysterious is a different aspect for a newer reader. Seeing Aquaman get the same as Mera (like it or not) is refreshing as well, and hopefully will give less knowledgeable readers more respect for Aquaman.
