I like this issue, its good new story arc for a new creative team. I do prefer the old artist.

This issue was torture. While there is an attempt at actual storytelling, nothing really works. It’s particularly frustrating when Simone sets up an important character moment for Calico, but then makes her change her attitude completely out of the blue. Rogue credits Gambit’s people skills, but he did nothing to cause such a dramatic change from one panel to the next. Weird!
There’s also a lot of hugging and cutesy victim mentality stuff that obviously caters to the younger woke generation of readers, but will most likely p*ss off older readers. I certainly have had enough of this title. more

This is a beginning to a new story arc, art is alright but I prefer Marquez'. Story is ok, nothing amazing.

Art is good, but I expected more from this ending, just meh. It left me with more questions.

I'm not following the Beast World storyline, so that part was worthless to me, but I did enjoy the Brother Enternity portion. We got a few good scenes with Raven here and the artwork continues to be good. I thought it cut a little too short, which is weird to say about a Tom Taylor book. I would have liked to see this battle continue for another issue. He was Tamaranian, which was a good twist, but he should have been tougher to take down.

Love the art, this issue was more of an opening for the next major event, beast world.

A little bit of a step down from Issue 2, but not by much. The story presented here is still intriguing, especially with how it ended. Of course Church of Eternity had something shady going on, this was expected. I'm really interested to learn more about it, though, and what that aforementioned last page was about. As for the art, it wasn't my absolute favorite here, but it was still pretty solid throughout. This was another good issue for this series. more

Love the art, and I did not expect the ending! Excited for this series

I like this series more than the main X-Men run. At least it is cohesive.

I actually enjoyed this issue better than the others thus far. The fight scene with Sarah and Rogue was good. I'm not sure about the index finger and pinky in - that was weird. Not sure I liked the whole backstory for Gaunt either and I have no idea what's going on outside with the cultist. The best of these is when Simone focuses on a smaller number of characters. I remain with the opinion that introducing that whole team of teenagers was a mistake.

Plot
Rogue, with the help of Nightcrawler, gets Wolverine mortally wounded. Rogue sends Nightcrawler and Wolverine to the cabin. Sarah attacks her and a fight begins where neither holds back from hitting.

The comic includes the moment when Sarah tells Charles that she wants a child with him at all costs. Apparently years later Sarah lost her son in a storm and blames the mutants. When that storm ended, she spent two days in a swamp that gave her powers. She is, in theory, a mutant.

At the cabin, Gambit receives a call from Dr. Corina, who out of courtesy tells him that they are about to be attacked by an army and that Sarah wants to kill the young mutants they protect. The army arrives and the Uncanny X-men, including the teenagers, prepare to fight.

Professor Xavier is psychologically tortured by Dr. Corina.

Gail Simone continues to narrate at a fast-paced and mesmerizing pace that includes revelations and gives Rogue her important place as a warrior and tactical leader of the X-Men that she has always deserved to have.

Art
It is very detailed, supported by textures and complex strokes, making each page a visual delight, where she successfully achieves those epic poses of this interesting lineup of X-Men.

This continues to be a flawless book. Great character moments, especially with Rogue's internal dialog. The villain is very interesting, I still like the new kids even though they didn't get much to do this issue. Rogue, Gambit, Wolvie, Nightcrawler all were written excellently and their personalities shone through. Great art as well, Marquez is a fantastic choice to pick up the torch left by Pepe Larraz as the new "it" X-artist. No notes on this issue, great story, great writing, great art, great cliffhanger, loving it. more

Very well drawn and written. The plot is mostly unique in the X-Men world, but still leads to some annoying situations. I'm assuming Havok either didn't realize his jacket also had a camera or forgot because I don't think he'd intentionally spy on Polaris, but that's a bit dumb and annoying. The dude had JUST SHOWED him the jacket cam. Minor quibbles like that aside, I'm enjoying the book. Anything with a bit of the Peter David X-Factor vibe is going to be a hit with me. more

Plot
Rodger Broderick makes it clear to Havok that he is the leader of X-Factor for a good while while Angel recovers, Havok is informed that the previous mission failed because there is a spy and they say that he is part of the Mutant Underground, the emotional support group organization to which Polaris is part. The relationship between Alex and Polaris is deteriorating.

Havik attends a Mutant Underground meeting with a spy camera and they discover him, X-Factor (Cecilia Reyes, Pyro, Granny Smite, Frenzy and Xyber) arrives to rescue him and thus Havok and Polaris separate.

X-Factor is sponsored by the digital company CLICKCLOCK, mysterious and continues to be much mentioned.

Granny Smite's power is immortality, which is why she is always looking to end her immortality, she is a mysterious character with black humor.

Excellent new installment that shows a realistic version of X-Factor, which protects itself from cancellation and seeks to be politically correct.

Art
With textures and details, Bob Quinn achieves a fusion between the classic designs of X-Factor but modernizes them with cool designs. The action sequences use interesting angles and classic era poses.

Summary
Havok assumes the leadership of X-Factor, but his relationship with Polaris will suffer because of that decision more
