Feb 26, 2026Over these four issues, Johnson’s horror-fueled nightmare of an Incredible Hulk run continues to impress. The Infernal Hulk#4 is both a fantastic issue that features some of the best art in a comic this year, and a great set-up for what's to come inside the twisted Hulkscape and beyond. Just from the cover art alone, you knew this issue was set up to be an absolute banger; when all the Hulk personalities run into each other, you know mayhem is going to follow. The Infernal Hulk continues to be a highlight every single month, and I hope you’ll consider joining the ride if you haven’t already. It’s only gonna get more gruesome from here. Read Full Review

AIPT - David Brooke
Feb 25, 2026Infernal Hulk #4 is a bold, visually stunning descent into Hulk’s fractured psyche. Johnson leans fully into the mythic and surreal, crafting a story that feels like a dark fairy tale soaked in cosmic horror. The issue works surprisingly well as a jumping-on point thanks to a vicious opening that establishes the threat of Eldest before plunging readers into Hulk’s internal battleground. Klein delivers some of the most inventive pages of the series so far, from spiraling panel layouts to grotesque and magical landscapes that demand careful attention. The narrative may feel disorienting by design, but the ambition and artistry on display make this one of the most memorable Hulk issues in recent memory. Read Full Review

Feb 25, 2026The Infernal Hulk #4 takes us to a very trippy and strange realm that not only tells us where the Hulk is but also makes the readers imagination run wild. The story may be strange, but it fits into this series perfectly. As crazy as the story is, the art is that much crazier and more amazing. This series has really heated up the last couple of issues and looks to not be slowing down or losing a step. Read Full Review

Mar 03, 2026Can the Incredible Hulk survive the horror of the Hulkscape? PKJ leaves room for doubt, as Klein’s art brings his nightmares to life. Wilson makes the whole thing look demonic, while Petit’s letters reinforce the carnage. The Mother of Horrors promises to be one of the Hulk’s toughest foes yet. If this issue is any sign, then she could end up being his last.< Read Full Review

Plot Infernal Hulk is carrying out attacks all over the planet. The U.S. government doesn't know how to stop him, but this comic explains where Hulk is. He's a global threat that seems to have no one to stop him. There's a place in Hulk's mind called The Hulkscape, where Hulk has imprisoned Bruce Banner several times. However, this place is taken over by The Eldest, and all the beings that this creature has consumed are there, including all the versions of Hulk (Mr. Fixit, Savage, Gladiator, etc.). Therefore, this place is a war zone filled with pitched battles. However, the biggest revelation is that THE MOTHER OF HORRORS, whom The Eldest consumed, also lives in this place and is the most powerful monster. This comic never ceases to more

I love everything Phillip Kennedy and Nic Klein have been doing with The Hulk. The whole mother of horrors story lines was amazing, I mean, turning The Hulk into a horror comic was the right move, considering he is for all intents and purposes "a monster". Love how gory and monster filled it's gotten, Nic Klein just takes it over the top with his art. It's not the first time in The Hulk's history that Hulks monster and human side have been separated, I love where it's going though, with the whole "hell on earth" idea...I look forward to every issue. Will Bruce and The Hulk reunite?

This book felt more like a Hulk issue at times than this entire run. Which I really liked. We are finally shown where Hulk has been this entire time and it's pretty fun to see this mind prison that holds everyone consumed or possessed by the Eldest. Hulk dukes it out versions of himself, monsters etc. it's all just fun and a excuse to showcase the big Green Guy we all love and wanted to see again. Hulk is in quite the bind here as the world seems very much controlled by the Mother of all Monsters who is there also. Overall the story felt like a welcome change. I buy Hulk for Hulk. I got Hulk smashing and I really missed that. I also was delighted to get some bad ass Nic Klein art!!! In a literal sea of garbage Marvel titles we finally go more
