I don't have much hope for the relaunch. The X-Men stepping in for the Avengers sounds like just another stillborn gimmicky idea. Not quite as bad as Graymatter Lane (I'm waiting for Emma to wake up in issue 10, realising she just dreamed all of it), but definitely destined to fail spectacularly.

We get wildride pt 3. Featuring another part of the Gambit possession storyline. This time featuring yet another of Gail’s creations, the mutant exorcist Repent. How a mutant exorcist is even a thing idk but Gail creates new characters nonstop in hopes something will click with fans. Not much happens here. Just more of the same old bad story that continues to plague the book. It’s always a new cha more
Uncanny X-Men #35
WILD RIDE, PART THREE! An X-MAN faces a terrifying transformation. and the CURE may be worse than the disease! Who or WHAT is REPENT. and why are they the LAST HOPE of a beloved mutant? Meanwhile, the newly formed UNCANNY X-MEN learn of a dark connection between their recent foes, one that may involve one of the OUTLIERS' deepest secrets!
I really like this new story so far. it lays down some stakes early and they are big. Cale has real motivations for her actions and that adds some depth that I loved. the last arc was slow but this one starts off with a bang. It's nice to have Hayden back on art duties as Dillon Snook made really ugly Diana with a huge nose and long face. I look forward to whatever happens next. This absolute W more
Absolute Wonder Woman #23
Back from the underworld, Diana returns to Area 41 with more than justice on her mind. What she finds is not what she expected, but neither is life in Gateway, as a new threat is rising. Unfortunately, Diana recognizes this particular threat…the gods themselves have come to Gateway City!
Well here we are a few days after release. 3 issues in and not a single review from a critic and 1 user review. despite the book being somewhat fun in issue 1 and a slide on issue 2... issue 3 has exposed this books biggest flaw- what are the stakes? we had an outback era that was perfect and is my favorite X-men arc. injecting "untold parts of the story to fill in what little gaps there are" is more
X-Men: Outback #3
FROM THE QUANTUM REALM, COMES A NEW THREAT! Lying low in the Australian Outback, the X-Men have seemed to find peace - that is until the ancient necromancer YAGA DYARA arrives from the Quantum Realm seeking to end Colossus' Rasputin bloodline for good. How can Piotr and his comrades succeed against this sorcerer's cosmic threat? Will Yaga's undead ...
Considering the X-Men are dead to the world, villains don’t seem to have much trouble finding them. First Sabretooth in issue 1, now this Yaga Something guy. Speaking of which, Orlando is pretty much ripping of the classic Uncanny X-Men 231, even naming his villain after the antagonist of that same issue, Baba Yaga. The two even look very similar. Now why would you do that, and even mention that v more

Well I called it. Jed is headed into the big DNX event. lots of build for 3K vs the Xmen, and what happens? we get a fight thats just a big nothing. there is no big confrontation here.just a few panels of a battle. we get a punt down the field . the Beast/ magneto angle is something we had seen so many times. its overplayed and boring...and thats the story of this issue. its a boring nothing. j more
X-Men #36
DNX PROLOGUE! 3K works toward a viable build of the X-Virus, brought back from the Age of Revelation. Until now they have been frustrated - but when the Chairman realizes that the missing piece of the puzzle lies within Magneto, 3K moves on the X-Men's home base in Alaska.
the series has had some great character work. The premise is solid. the Joan of arc stuff felt off to me last issue. I really enjoyed this one and im very interested in where this goes with 1 more issue to go.
Corpse Knight #5
The true nature of the Corpse Knight is revealed, as Foy’s plans take a dark turn.
Zub continues his epic run. One of the very best comic series ive ever read. this is tremendous stuff. this issue was so good.
Conan The Barbarian #33
Conan and Valeria are pirates of the Red Brotherhood, living a life of lawless adventure on the Western Sea, but occult forces from the Commerian’s past have him in their sights once more and they will not rest until the barbarian’s body and soul are torn asunder.
Almost a perfect issue. We need more comics like this. Joshua Williamson is having fun and it shows. excellent stuff.
G.I. Joe #25
NEW STORY ARC IT HAD TO HAPPEN: G.I. JOE VS. NIGHT FORCE! Everything has been leading to this EXTRA-SIZED landmark issue as Joe battles Joe, friends become enemies, and the chart-topping team of JOSHUA WILLIAMSON and TOM REILLY kick off the biggest G.I. JOE story in Energon Universe history!
Kevin Smith cannot help himself and the lame outdated dialog and jokes overshadow what should be a home run for everyone on the book. instead it's a huge miss. We get small bits of cool moments but the bad well overshadows the good. I almost thought it was Deadpool dressed as Spider-man. RB silva is an amazing artist but even he cannot save the outwit annoying writing on this book. really bad stu more
Spider-Man / Hulk: Fire And Brimstone #1
THWIP-SMASH! Legendary writers KEVIN SMITH and ANDY McELFRESH team up with superstar artist R.B. SILVA for the newest high-octane adventure for Spider-Man and Hulk! It's nonstop action! Side-splitting quips! And...the exorcism of Bruce Banner?!
Punisher Vs. Spider-Man (2026)

Join us now for a trip to the days of their earliest encounters with returning fan-favorite writer DAN ABNETT (PUNISHER: YEAR ONE) and your new favor...
Cancel the book. look at the number of reviews. as of 8/21 i'm the only user review and I'll tell you... this book is dreadful. Saladin is writing this just like his Wolverine book. that means it's incomprehensible. Shard is awful. Bishop has become Cable more than his own character. don't buy this.
Bishop #3
BISHOP VERSUS THE BROTHERHOOD! Bishop and his sister Shard fight tooth and nail against THE STONE, yet another member of THE FINAL BROTHERHOOD who has traveled across time and space to hunt Bishop down. But can the siblings truly counter the sheer force of the Brotherhood's dark mission? Or will they crack underneath this onslaught of foes?
- [ ] Deathstroke #6 We get the ending of the first arc and what a story. Fun action packed. has real stakes. This is the best Deathtroke has been in many year. Tony Fleecs isn't my favorite writing but im eating crow. he nailed this one and shut me up big time. Carime killed it on art duties overall despite some inconsistencies on this issue. hats off and standing ovation on this first story arc more
Deathstroke: The Terminator #6
Ravager’s life hangs in the balance as Deathstroke fights for his future against…Deathstroke?! Will this mystery doppelgänger succeed in taking literally everything from him? Can the city caught in their crosshairs survive two Deathstokes? Or will it be the end of everything?
The solicit got it right in the opening lines "Wild Ride" continues in desperation!"
Gail hyped this issue up on her Facebook saying " Today is UNCANNY X-MEN #34 and a lot of the future of two key X-Men starts here, just saying!
You're going to want this.
Gambit and Rogue in crisis, and someone new at the door!"
If you came away with that feeling after this issue I'm jea

"WILD RIDE" continues! In desperation, Rogue takes Gambit for help to an unexpected, unreliable source, and the cure may be far worse than the disease! I’m getting tired of Simone‘s only two themes - child abuse / safe space and demonic threats. As usual, Vecchio‘s art is a mixed bag - there are certainly worse artists at Marvel right now, but man, do I miss the old times when comic book artists knew what they were doing.
Re. MrNobody: if you had read all of my reviews, you would have noticed that there are Marvel titles I do enjoy, s

agreed on all counts. imagine getting life advice and a full psychological breakdown because you didnt like a comic book. the internet is odd. btw this book sucks and each week we breakdown why. because things just happen, and its poor writing.
This book continues to shock and awe me. We come off a few down issues in a row and settle back to what is working. Aka the Scarecrow who is the best villain so far in the series. We get robin death , call backs to cool moments and Clayface framing Batman yet again as a killer. Where this book goes after this idk but I’ll be here waiting to buy it.
Great job on the art as well.
Absolute Batman #23
In a climactic showdown, Batman is forced to battle an unyielding enemy in not just the Robins but in himself. More than one dead character signals a call for help…and a symbol of hopelessness as more friends become enemies.
X-men United #6. I didnt buy it. But I did read in my LCS out of morbid curiosity. Eve L Ewings book has next to no reviews, as everyone has dropped off this total mess. This issue is cowritten by Evan Narcisse. The entire series has been under the premise that the team is interacting in Grey Matter Lane. Training mutants in a “Mind school”. This issue is the Xmen battling evil shadow versions more
X-Men United #6
A malevolent spirit has entered Graymatter Lane, turning friends into foes and allies into enemies. As fractures appear across the X-team, can they come together to defeat one of the most ancient and powerful mutants of all - THE SHADOW KING?!
Both the writing and art are subpar. Eve Ewing doesn’t even seem to care about the logic of Graymatter Lane, but it doesn’t matter anyway, since it’s all nonsense.

Last issue we had a Juggernaut self reflection issue. This time it's Beasts turn. Jed must be feeling emo or /and most likely the case- He is stalling to build some stakes and tell as much back story as possible headed into the big battle with 3K. I do care about Beast and his talk with Magik has its moments But it's a boring issue at times. I'm happy that it at least is fleshing out these charac more
X-Men #35
DNX PROLOGUE! Hank McCoy, the bouncing blue Beast, is haunted by a ghost - not of his past, but of his future...and his present. The Chairman of 3K, an older, amoral version of himself, represents one of the greatest threats the X-Men have faced since the fall of Krakoa, and Beast must struggle with his own terrible potential.
Uncanny X-men …here comes the final rant. Gail hyped this issue up on her Facebook page. Here is Gail in her own words. “ Just saying, if you have been away from UNCANNY X-MEN for a bit, today is the day to jump back on board. It's a new arc, and some important new characters are involved, and I can't say more but this is a good jumping back-on point and this story REALLY goes bananas.Gambi

Uncanny X-Men #33
"WILD RIDE" starts here! Gambit's condition is worsening, causing an unexpected shake-up in the roster of the UNCANNY X-MEN. But is it merely magic that is taking over his form and behavior, or is it something far more sinister? Rogue desperately tries to save her husband in our most disturbing story yet!
a major title like ASM and not a single user review. and its Sunday! thats insane. well ill tell you my thoughts. Joe Kelly is writing an angry jealous childlike Peter who is very unlikeable. in fact this issue Peter is just a nasty sad sack for much of it. IDK where this Cormac stuff is going but just look at the stars of the issue on the opening pages. who are these losers ? Joe needs to more
