DNX #3 is easily my favorite issue yet! This issue captures you and doesn’t let you go until the very end. The energy was high, the stakes were even higher, and I was locked in. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke

DNX #3 keeps the stakes high while finding its most compelling drama in Cyclops' increasingly dangerous leadership. Jed MacKay puts Ben Liu in an impossible situation, revealing how far Scott will go to prevent the Age of Revelation. The decision to sideline the Chairman in favor of a massive disaster in Philadelphia is unexpected, especially with only two issues remaining, but it gives the potential catastrophe real weight. Federico Vicentini's slick, kinetic artwork elevates every scene, bringing impressive energy even to the quieter character moments. With several intriguing threads still developing, this is a strong installment that makes the X-Men's desperate fight feel increasingly complicated. Read Full Review

I could be wrong and there could be greater plans for this in the long run. But don't let those comments make you think i hate this story or something. I actually very much enjoy this DNX run tremendously. X-Men really is the best thing Marvel has out on shelves right now and this story is hitting the notes it needs to in order to be successful. Let's hope for a strong ending to follow this well written build up. Read Full Review

DNX #3 is one with big moments for a few characters. But, their moments flounder without knowledge from other comics. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Jamison Nilsson

    Oct 14, 2026

DNX #3 is a meandering but visually entertaining issue that continues the plot developments introduced in X-Men #37 and DNX #2. The issue reads more as a tie-up to previous events that is intended to reset the board before the event’s next act. Read Full Review

    Astonishingly Awful

The best issue so far. There’s so much senseless action, you almost don’t notice the stupid faces Federico Vicentini draws.

DNX has been the best event so far in this relaunch of x-men. Before you think oh you bash xmen each week did you change your tune ? No. This book is the least gross turd, but it’s still a stinky turd. It’s just so by the numbers. When Ben creates the literal squid machines from the Matrix I rolled my eyes and laughed. Something you’d never do after reading Mutant massacre or x Tinction agenda is roll your eyes and laugh but this is the state of modern X-men. The best part of the book is -spoiler- Magneto is restored by reed Richards to full power. Now we no longer have to see a shriveled up old man in a hover chair wearing a helmet just sulking in the background while everyone mouths off to him. We just move on by whoever made him sick o more
