I am giving this a 1, only because I can't give it a negative number. You can be a member of, advocate, and ally to the LGBTQ community without reducing gay superheroes to gay stick figures. Retcon of Green Lantern Alan Scott as a victim and of JSA as propaganda for FBI, using "Elseworlds" style story for new DC canon. Total retcon of GL Alan Scott from All-American Comics #16, intended to introdu more

I’m so happy that the spokesman for all LGBTQ people told us how they all feel.

Steamed writes: "I’m so happy that the spokesman for all LGBTQ people told us how they all feel." I am not. Neither is Tim Sheridan. That is the actual point if you decided to read my review.

Donny Cates can rest easy, we finally have something worse than his Hulk series. This is not only bad, this is dumb.

The art team is strong, and i encourage people to check out their work... on other books. Aaron's Punisher #1 was unreadable. The premise is uninteresting. The opening rehash of the Frank's origin was unnecessary. The main character is unrecognizable.

That's a fair criticism. Permit me to elucidate my problems with this issue. It begins with a 4 page reiteration of the death of Frank's family. This is a scene that has been done so many times it's essentially wasted space. The premise of the series is absurd - Frank joins a ninja death cult? This will be remembered in the same line as Frankencastle, Frank as an angel, and Frank turning black because of reconstructive surgery. The less said about the zombie wife, the better.

This is already better than the both you listed, Frank castle working with a shadow organization makes sense. We’ve also known the hand to have the ability to resurrect people back from the dead (they did it to Elektra) it makes sense in the context of the story, he’s not going to join them without a reason. I think it’s an interesting concept and whether or not it’s good depends on the writer they’ve laid out an interesting foundation. Also, that introduction was for any new readers.
