The conclusion to a 12 issue arc that feels anticlimactic but on par for the course. The series itself may require another reading, it just kind of felt lacking..

Jock may arguably be the better artist, however this series in general loses points whenever Dragotta isn’t doing the art..
Asides from that, a fun little ‘non reliable’ narrative here.

Similar to my feelings with Wolverine: Revenge; this year, I think this title could’ve really benefited having twice as many issues to flesh out the story.
Although not my preferred style, the art for this series does a great job translating the feel of the book, including the second artist which feels like a nice break within the story.

However the art and writing are a solid 10.

Definitely a stronger first half in this 12 issue run, by Jason Aaron, who I think got repetitive and wonky especially with the court room drama and conclusion.
The arts what really caught me by surprise, not my typical cup of tea but Juan Ferreyra carried the story for me. Very dynamic and entertaining to gaze upon.
