As the bodies start to pile up around New York City, Detective Bentley and Maslow are looking for any answers to the question of “what connects these victims?” Seth attends a signing and Q&A for Smile, and meets an unlikely companion who may just help solve his writer’s block.
Issue number two really gives the reader there first peak into the backstory of the previous killer. Tyler Boss does an excellent job of building suspense well also revealing a masterful mystery. The build up is perfectly paced to mix the violence in with that whodunit mystery that keeps the reader completely engrossed in the story. Read Full Review
Ultimately, You'll Do Bad Things #2 feels like a step down from the previous issue. Answers to this mystery are still a ways off, of course, but instead of escalating the stakes, making things personal for Seth, showcasing his crumbling reality, or developing the intriguing backstory that is surely motivating these killings, the story stalls. Nevertheless, some fantastic art and letteringand the near guarantee that things will have to get back on track soonstill make this a worthwhile read. Read Full Review
Still not sure if I'm sold on this series. It does leave me with just enough to care, but if the this issue doesn't deliver I might be out
