This issue feels like the payoff Doctor Aphra fans have been waiting for for quite some time, and it's an earned experience, which also hopefully set the stage for a new status quo in the coming issues and other exciting realizations. Read Full Review

This one was good enough but with the Hidden Empire storyline things might start get confusing for a bit as you have to buy all the Star Wars comics to get the storyline. Read Full Review

This continues the possession storyline. I was hoping this would have wrapped up by now. It's feeling pretty dragged on. I believe she's been possessed for three issues now. It seems a stretch that the Spark can annex both relics and droids to its will. They needed Kho to stay so she could be a part of Hidden Empire, which seemed very contrived. Somehow using their similar arm circuits, Magna could leap into her mind. What? Again, another stretch. It was action-packed, but it makes the reader put aside so much disbelief that it was tough to enjoy too much.

This run has been so disappointed and I will no longer read it unless their a change in writers. Aphra is the best new character we’ve got from the Star Wars comics and I just hope this awful run doesn’t tarnish her name or hurt the character’s popularity going forward.
