It’s clear that Adams loves just about every corner of the GL verse, and that’s a big selling point of this book. Read Full Review

Overall, this creative team delivers a will-they-won’t-they chapter that adds to their longstanding relationship while building even more excitement for the anniversary issue ahead. Jeremy Adams deserves major credit for steering the Jordan/Ferris relationship to its healthiest place in years, arguably ever. One final tease: Kyle Rayner fans, you’re going to be very happy. There’s a moment here that absolutely lands. The road to #600 feels brighter than ever. Read Full Review

Next issue marks the landmark 600th issue for Green Lantern. Adams teases a big development starting with Hal reuniting with a very old super friendly ally. This was a nice calm before the massive storm issue while reminding readers Hal’s heart is just more than his fearlessness in fighting. Read Full Review

I love how the creative team continues to move the story forward and play with expectations, but also consistently finds ways for multiple laugh-out-loud moments that always feel organic to the story. Read Full Review

Green Lantern #32 charms with Hal and Carol's Paris pulse-pounding almost-yes, but the lore avalanche crashes the landing, leaving you pondering if this earns rack space over waiting for #600's payoff. Solid for Lantern loyalists craving relationship beats amid setup, yet casual budgets might hold for the anniversary bomb. In a sea of event teases, it floats but doesn't soar.7/10We hope you found this article interesting. Hal’s sabbatical from larger Green Lantern events has been fun. The issues have had a good guest cast, and each one notched up in importance. Green Lantern #32 works as the perfect finale to this arc, delivering an enjoyable Hal/Carol outing even if the action beat is unnecessary. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez

    Feb 28, 2026

It’s disappointing as a fan to know to expect a comic book to pull the rug from under you based on the cover. Green Lantern #32 falls for this trap by teasing a big engagement but doing something to delay that from happening. It created a predictable story around what happens for the majority of this issue between Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris. Read Full Review

Adams’ script is stronger this month versus the last several issues, but there’s still very little resolution to anything that’s set up here. It’s all a giant TO BE CONTINUED (again) as it pads the way to issue 600. Bonus points, however, for bringing Kyle back into the fold. Montos’ art was weird looking in places and has a very static feel to it. I don’t think he’s the best choice of artist for this book.

This is what I wanted the series to be. Hal and Carol working together and mending their relationship. Now, I hear that Hal is being retired from the series and it is going to focus on Kyle. I think this is a mistak, but let's see what happens. My Review Channel - https://youtu.be/5UfOn0d7BH8
