The Flash #795 is hurtling towards its conclusion, shining as it does. The One-Minute War has been a powerful story arc; this issue is another excellent inclusion. Read Full Review
One Minute War has one more issue and this final page definitely should leave longtime Wally West fans hyped for the OMW finale. Read Full Review
The penultimate issue of One-Minute War delivers some of the best action of the run, as the Flash Family takes the fight back to the Fraction. Read Full Review
Flash #795 kicks this arc into overdrive in its penultimate chapter of "The One Minute War." The narrative isn't as strong as prior issues, yet the art takes this series to a whole new level. Read Full Review
The Flash #795 is by and large much better than the prior two installments of the One-Minute War. There's tension, some drama, suspense, action, and a possible revival of a specific "timepoint that's definitely meaningful to some hardcore DC Comic fans. Read Full Review
Adams and the artistic team bring an intense and emotional flair to this issue. It perfectly sets up the finale to the One Minute War. Read Full Review
The interaction between the Speed Force and Einsteinian physics has always been at least a little tenuous. Exactly what it is that Adams is doing here is a little silly, but the drama in the ensemble holds it all together remarkably well, even in the absence of any menace on the part of the villains. Given everything that Flash #795 has to contend with, its kind of impressively coherent. Read Full Review
The Flash #795 puts Barry's new plan into motion with exciting super-speed action, strong emotional beats, high stakes, and a twist reveal at the end that could pave the way for big Flash changes in the future. That said, the mixture of artists in this book don't have complementary styles, causing the art quality to suffer. Read Full Review
This issue does have some rough edges, especially when it comes to the jarring artistic shifts and the idea that all the damage the Fraction has done will be hand-waved. Still, I have to bring attention to the jaw-dropping final page which might be one of the biggest DC shockers of the year. Read Full Review
The Flash #795 has a fun action movie feel, but sparse character work and looming reversal of the plot robs the story of impact. Read Full Review
Entertaining read. Nothing too spectacular but gets the job done to get us to the conclusion next issue. Still though one of the best comics out there.
I think the art is kind of hurting the impact of the writing, but the writing is really good.
a really awesome story that has heart, effort, and is just outright fun and entertaining.
POV Tom King: 😮
Good writing, but the art is not up to par...
This story continues to stay solid. There was nothing extraordinary here, but enough to keep me interested. I will say, however, I am very glad to have Wally West back. Also, referring to my review 794, I totally don’t remember Irey getting her new suit at all, so maybe I just missed it somewhere. Speaking of Irey, I really only have this one as a half-point higher due to Wally’s return and the interaction regarding Barry being unsure if they’d be able to get him back. With the finale to this story coming up in the next issue, I really hope everything can come together and deliver on a good ending that I know Adams is capable of.
