Incredible Hulk #29 reveals the origins of the Mother of Horrors and how she factors into the greater cosmology of the Marvel Comics universe. Whether or not this addition to the Marvel cosmology will really stick depends on the readers, but her story is told well thanks to Adam Gorham's art and the writing in Hulk's narration. The action and reveals near the end do a solid job of setting up the big clash for Hulk and Eldest in the next issue. Read Full Review

I was talking to Jesus just the other day, he said this run was fine. Not His cup of tea but He didn't really have any problem with it. I said, Jesus, didn't you think it was too woke with all the feminism and what about that writer at DC and He said, whoa man, slow down, not everything is about politics.

I used to like PJK but hiss continually over drawn out stories have finally beat me down to accept that it's all he's going to offer. This elder story has gone on for so long that it's lost any sense of urgency or intrigue that no matter what happens, I'm just unable to care at this point. I was enjoying the the monster of the week style due to the amazing art and even as that went on I kept reading for Charlie as she's a great character. I suppose that's what's most frustrating is that PJK is capable of being a fantastic character writer and has a strong passion and knowledge for the characters he writes but the over drawn out pacing is just killing his stories for me. I'm really liking his Batman and Robin as his character work with D more
