Into the Unbeing Part One #2 is the best second issue of any comic I've read all year. It ramps up the horror, the mystery, and unease perfectly. Into The Unbeing Part One fills you with dread, mixing sci-fi, body horror, and an electrical shock of fear. This is a must-read for all horror fans. Trust me, I'm still thinking about it! So much more to explore in this issue and yet, still not a lot of answers. I'm ok with that. I like a slow burn. In issue one we got a lot of Hildur's backstory and POV and in this issue it was all about Zara. I'm wondering if Selba and Abby will get this treatment in the coming issues. The artwork in this book is a horror fans dream and the character development is top notch. I'm eagerly anticipating issue three! Read Full Review

It's not bad but it leans into eco-horror enough that it made me revulse, which is the point, and want to just move forward rather than spend more time there. I'm still curious as to where it'll go but like many Thompson books, it's a damn hard read. Read Full Review

Into The Unbeing #2 takes a long time to get off the starting block, but eventually gets to a pace that is engaging and stimulating. It's just a shame that this happens just as the issue comes to a close. Read Full Review
I'm still not blown away, but it does tell an interesting story that I want to continue following.
