I've really enjoyed following the various factions that make up Adelhard's fleet, and I'm looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds in the final two issues of the series. Read Full Review
Alex Segura pens a very compelling story heading into the series finale next week. All of the chess pieces are in place, and the proverbial powder keg has been lit. As I've said before, we know how the battle is going to play out. We've known this since 2015, but we don't know the finer details of how this will play out. This whole series has been badly written. Characters don’t have the space to develop, relationships aren’t established, meaning that Luke’s journey doesn’t make sense, the spice runners powerbroker he meets hasn’t been shown to have the power to make a difference in the war or properly explore why he would take sides
Adelhards rise and fall and rise again has been frustratingly short and underdeveloped
The climax feels unearned, it comes out of nowhere. A lot of plot twists just haven’t been set up. I’m unsure why there’s a ground battle on Jakku, other than there needs to be one because Ray lives in a destroyed AT-AT in The Force Awakens
This series should have been a much longer story told over a couple of more
