This comic goes way to slow but is still good.
Not a bad issue, but a little bit of a step-down from the previous one. Seeing Smith back on the interiors was great, but I do feel like this could have ended a little stronger. That said, I am interested in this story with Danny, despite him not really appearing much in this issue.
Man, for an arc about Danny's return, it's fascinating how he has yet to return.
While there's stuff to like. It's also just feels like a lot of the exposition just feels similar to almost every issue of this run.
This issue faffs around with a lot of Avatar-press-level Grand Guignol theatrics before finally dragging the protagonists to the place the solicits brought the readers 2 months ago: They need to deal with Danny Ketch. To me, this is a competent but thoroughly superfluous middle chapter.
