Loving it

I love Momoko so this was an instant pull for me and boy it did deliver.

Feels like anything except the X-Men but weirdly not in a bad way.
Very intrigued in what happens next.

Why can't Duggan write all his books like this. He understands Tony and at the same time it's making him a big part of this epic fight against Orchis for the sake of Mutant kind. Epic!

This was weird. But I liked it a lot. This just proves my point that Riri needs her own series. Also I'm really happy for Tony and Emma although I know it won't last.

The fact that this book is written by the same guy who is writing the current X-Men baffles me a lot. I dig a lot the Stark-Frost team up in every way.

Please Marvel give Riri a good book already. She deserves it!

I liked a lot the way this was tied up with Immortal X-Men but at the same time it was a story on it's own.

All in all a very solid mini. I like a lot Patsy Walker. She really needs a regular series with a Street/Sobrenatural vibe.

Patsy Walker lore is something else... I have to admit I don't get most of it but I still enjoy this weird aspect of her life.

Last few pages of this are some of the best I’ve read in years!

It made me feel like I was watching a movie, it was so good. The characters, the dialogue, everything about it. The few ending pages were thrilling. One of those endings that make you go "OMG" and wonder what will happen next.

I don't care, that ending alone makes this a 10.

The problem with dystopian future stories is that they are so frequent and so often falling into the same tropes. To be clear, these are tropes for a reason. The threat of authoritarianism and fascism has been rolling around in the minds of people for decades and decades, and especially in today's climate. I can only begrudge the tropes so much, is my point. If they're done well, and I believe they are done well here, I do sort of fall into the sway of it. I want to see our heroes beat back the fascists again. more

Epic is an understatement.

Almost perfect. I'm a sucker for Old Man CAP. A man destined to always be out of time and out of sync and I love Zdarsky's take on him in this future dystopia. I like that we are getting answers and reveals in a nice pace and this is where a mini series beats a 30 issue slow burn that could go stale unlike a mini. But the star here is Daniel Acuna! His art is phenomenal, beautiful and serves the story with his futuristic design and attention to details that immerses me into it. His stuff belongs in a museum lol more

Fantastic art and writing. Zdarsky is cooking an all timer here.

This story was mostly about setting the stage for what's to come, and with MacKay at the helm, I'm very excited for it.

That Nightmare twist is brutal. Loved it.
Also Wanda and Thor on the same panel is just to much. The pages are going to drop, Epic!

Really loved the mix and matching here.

A fantastic debut issue for this miniseries. This acts as a nice continuation of Ewing's amazing X-Men: Red series, and it was also cool to see Blue Marvel and Taaia from Ewing's Defenders: Beyond miniseries. Back to this issue, though, I know the point of this is to bring back Magneto, but Ewing does another outstanding job of writing Storm here. He truly "gets" the character and I'm always blown away with how great of a job he does writing her. Plus, Vecchio's art was also really nice in this issue and I enjoyed just looking at very page throughout this. All things considered, this looks like another hit from Ewing and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds. more

Ewing says goodbye to the X-Men with a big swing that offers up a Storm/Magneto story unlike any either character has ever had.

Loved it. Was a X-Men meets the Defenders kinda crossover. With all the layers that Ewing likes to put on his books and all the world building done by him and by Gillen. Also fantastic art work. This is the art that needs to be done in this kind of comics. Truly beautiful and absorbing.
