I hope the pitch for this was John Wick in DC because that is what we are getting, and Deathstroke is an absolute tank who will not quit. The world-building we get, filling Slade Wilson with a life outside of Batman or merc work, is fantastic. I am in love with this run so far! Read Full Review

    KPB Comics - Phillip Creary

Deathstroke #2 is a punishing read that proves Slade Wilson is at his most dangerous when he’s at his absolute lowest. Tony Fleecs has stripped the character of every safety net he ever had, leaving us with a raw, desperate assassin who has stopped playing by the rules. Carmine Di Giandomenico’s art captures that violence with incredible kinetic energy. The bullets feel loud on the page, the blood feels heavy, and it looks like we’re just getting started. Deathstroke: The Terminator #2 is a fine addition to this latest round of "All-In" titles. You get action, urgency, energy, drama, and emotional weight aplenty. Tony Fleecs' concept may not be super original for a hero, but it does come off as novel when applied to a traditional villain. Plus, Carmine Di Giandomenico's art is eye-poppingly good. Slade’s revenge tour takes a detour as clues start emerging through the fire. Fleecs leans into Slade’s expertise with a solid scrip . Di Giandomenico & Plascencia unload full rounds of fury with the exciting action panels. Slade is back and the DCU isn’t ready for what’s happening here! Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Jamison Nilsson

Deathstroke: The Terminator issue #2 ups the ante on Deathstroke’s revenge quest by having the hunter be hunted. Millions of mercs, famous and unknown, are after Slade. This title is shaping up to be something rather special that feels like an animation divested into the comic book format. Read Full Review
