The premise explored here is far from new, but Schultz's use of a few surprising characters is keeping the idea fresh. Coupled with Dowling's atmospheric line work, Woman Without Fear #1 is a seriously satisfying debut. Read Full Review

Very good first issue
Really good issue, the art was solid and Elektra as Daredevil is still a really interesting hook. Good subway fight scene and I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.
I thought Erica Schultz had a great voice for Elektra in Gang War but I didn’t love that story line. This is a great story line. This debut issue makes me wish Schultz was writing an ongoing instead of just a miniseries. My one criticism, which may be cleared up later, is I’m not really sure where this takes place in conjunction with the main series.
I'm being a bit generous, but this was fun. Felt like a fun Daredevil story. The art had some maleev DD qualities.
This was a good start to a series, but in my opinion, she can no longer be Daredevil. Matt is back. I'm so tired of there being a male and female version of the same character called by the same name. It's been long enough that she needs to have her own identity. She needs a unique name. If they don't want to use Elektra, then please find something else. And do we really need the alternate dollar store version of the Punisher as well. Can this book be any more derivitive? It's not the writer's fault. I blame it on editorial. Give her a new name and get rid of that Punisher, pretty please.
