It all comes down to this: Moon Knight vs. Zodiac in the final struggle for Marc Spector's soul in the Battle of the Midnight Mission.
RATED T+
Moon Knight's truly never been better, and this is easily one of my favorite runs ever for the character. Read Full Review
Cappuccio delivers some exciting visuals throughout the issue. The realm Marc and Tigra escape through is visually stunning and the art wonderfully captures the tension and immediacy of the plot. Read Full Review
A great big fighting issue that also includes a healthy dose of story in it, making this an overall fantastic issue! You need this one!! Read Full Review

Moon Knight #12 ends the year-long arc and conflict against Zodiac with great art, great dialog, and plenty of urgency to race readers to the final battle. However, the main villain is defeated too easily, and nothing is revealed about his plan or motivations for a completely dissatisfying ending. This issue was supposed to be the big payoff, but all you get is a few pennies and pocket lint. Read Full Review
On the plus side, the issue does feature Zombie Moon Knights. On the other hand the battle the comic has been building for months sort of just ends rather than conclude, with Steven Grant taking control and preventing Marc Spector from taking any further vengeance out after the villain is rendered unconscious. Not sure what's next for our hero, but I'm guessing his god won't wait to long to cash in the favor he's owed. Read Full Review
This score is reflective of #7-12 and the Devil's Reign tie-in.
It's not all the time where as I read a comic I take a moment to just verbally express out loud how much I love what I'm reading. This set of issues has done that more than ONCE! This run on Moon Knight is PHENOMENAL! The artwork by Alessandro Cappuccio is immaculate. Federico Sabbatini's artwork, while could be better stylizically, is solid. But best of all? The story and the script from Jed MacKay. Everything from a writing standpoint is pitch-perfect and I could NOT put the book down (unless life gets in the way). #12 ends on an awesome cliffhanger that has me begging for the third trade already. This is a series that is NOT to be missed. I think this might be my more
It's a tense, speedy combat comic. The verbal and visual storytelling is good -- but both have been done better in this volume. The story being told, though, is nearly flawless.
This remains an extremely good comic; the two-ton twist ending certainly helps it land with a bang.
Interesting ending. I want to see more.
I'll be honest, I feel underwhelmed. It had some good parts but, it had almost every cliche in the book, and felt very anticlimactic for the ending of a long arc like that.
