There's really not a lot to critique in 'Superman #27' except a small nod to how fast world elements reset by the end. However, even Williamson has Lois give a meta acknowledgement to these events and that manages to keep it from being a glaring trope. In all seriousness, if you've been reading this series in any capacity, this is not an issue to miss. Read Full Review

This felt like the right time to streamline some of the subplots and return to a more stable status quo especially with Superman poised to battle dark versions of his oldest friends. It'll be interesting to see where Williamson and the rest of the creative team take the series next. Read Full Review

Perhaps it was a bit of a ruse. As soon as he learns about Booster, he breaks the chains and takes off. (Nice splash by Izaaske.) But it sure did feel like the closing of a big chapter for Superman with a whole new plot coming around. While I think Pharm/Graft had run their course, some of the other plots - Lex, Siobhan, Marilyn Moonlight - I think I wish we had more of. Read Full Review
Loved the art!
Another good issue. I like that he's closing up the story of Super Corp and Superwoman. I wasn't a fan of Lois having powers to begin with. I am confused about Zod, however. Aren't they his powers that were lost? Wasn't he on his way to Earth in the last issue? I was really hoping for a battle with Zod to close the story up. But I guess that's not going to happen. I hope we learn more about Marilyn Midnight. I like the character. I just know nothing about her.
