Toyman in a Kryptonite world delivers new, unexpected threats. The story is action-driven but thoughtful, with expanding side stories. Albuquerques art brings texture, contrast, and emotional tone. However, readers preferring big crossover events may find the focus on quieter vignettes less thrilling. Superman Unlimited #3 solidifies the series as one of DCs most inventive takes on Superman in 2025. Dan Slott continues to reinvent Kryptonites role, combining a classic villain in Toyman, the emotional presence of Krypto, and growing world-building stakes. Its smart, stylish, and heartfeltfunny and tense by turns. Superman Unlimited #3 is a comic with a lot of heart, especially when Krypto is on the page. The story has some genuinely fun ideas, and the Krypto-centric action is a blast. However, the inconsistent art, particularly the wonky human faces, is a persistent distraction that keeps this issue from reaching its full potential. It's a fun ride, but prepare for some visual bumps along the way. Read Full Review
The writing and art is continuing to grow on me. This issue successfully captured the spirit and tone of the new movie, and was a blast to read. Seeing Krypto paired up with a more age-appropriate Jon Kent was a lot of fun. I like the direction of this book.
I'm noticing how Krypton the Super dog has been getting so much love recently ever since the Superman 2025 film came out
Slott Superman is a winner for me.
sue me, but i like slott voice for superman and i like this title
I should give this a 10 just because Jon Kent is the age he should be, but I have to subtract points because they've movie-ized Krypto's appearance.
Comics should not have to change because of a film that's set in a totally different continuity.
