Harry Osborn asks Uncle Ben for help contacting Peter; he wants to deliver a message.
Meanwhile, Gwen Stacy, who has controlled OSCORP from the beginning, is Mysterio. Members of this cult are infiltrated everywhere, such as Robbie Robertson and Mr. Wesley, who are executing a secret agenda.
Gwen tells Harry that they have Mysterio's amulet for a week and that it's time to implement their plan. Harry, on the other hand, has Otto working for him in secret. He managed to reactivate the AI with Norman Osborn's mind uploaded. Osborn is constantly attacking and belittling Harry, but this apparently focuses Harry, and their complicated relationship reaches levels of deep psychological damage.
During an attack on Mr. Negative's clandestine bomb factory that held many people as slaves, Gwen is cruel and blows everything up, not knowing if Harry managed to rescue all the innocent.
Harry contacts Peter and asks for his help, because he's realizing Gwen has him under control and has a sinister plan. She currently owns OSCORP as his "widow." She has infiltrated the entire city, and her power level is vast, surpassing that of the Kingpin. Harry has been guarding Peter's apartment, ordering Otto to create a special protection system. Otto is also starting to build a mysterious new weapon.
A magnificent new installment that raises the levels of suspense and tension, where the revelation of Gwen Stacy's identity completely changes everything.
Art
It's very organic, with some textures that seem to have a certain Asian influence, and it's very shiny.

Let Hickman cook. This a fantastic story. Spider-Man is gonna be in the next issue so the babies can enjoy it again.

Got to be honest, felt being whelmed. It's nice seeing Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy get some love and shine, but at least make dont make the solicitors completely false. I get sometimes comic books has to lie to keep a plot twist or certain story beats secret so it won't get spoiled, but there's a limit to how much I can tolerate.
Oh gee, Spider-Man's not facing this one alone.... but he's only in the last two pages of this issue. Oh wow, Richard Parker is in the black suit..... well no not really. Again, this series isn't bad, but I expected more. It seems to me that Hickman is interested in building the world around Ultimate Peter Parker, but Earth 6160 Peter Parker is his own side-character. Again, maybe once Hickman completes this run like his Avengers run will I appreciate it more, but I was just.... fine with it. Didn't offend me, but didn't blow me away to the point where I thought Hickman was cooking some serious heat. Again, Hickman's a great writer, but this was a weak issue compared to others as of writing this.
Maybe next issue will prove me wrong more

Oh damn, it seems that the editorial team put the wrong synopsis and title to this book. I hope to read real USM issue one day, but Ultimate Green Goblin #17 is good enough until that.
Even if I am using a joking tone, I am serious and also getting more and more annoyed. This book just doesn't focus on the titular character. It feels like a B-book that is mostly about the side cast.
It's good. Don't get me wrong. It's good. I like the revelations, world building, character interactions and Messina's art is solid. But it's not Ultimate Spider-Man. If it was, it would focus more on the titular character for three months straight instead of just having him make a small cameo for two issues straight.
And did anyone catch Richard Parker in the BLACK SUIT? more
