Nerd Initiative - Josh Allen Nov 6, 2024

This issue is one of the most earthshattering issues Marvel has done in recent memory. It stands out as a pivotal one that will change the entire universe moving forward. Because what may have seemed like a near certainty for the heroes is now as far away from that as it can be. Will they be able to recover, or is it all over? Only time will tell, but this series is CAN'T MISS going forward. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez Nov 7, 2024

The Ultimates #6 is easily the best issue of this series thus far. Deniz Camp and Juan Frigeri drove home how big of a threat the Maker's Council is through the overwhelming might shown by The Immortal Weapons of Hulk. This eye opening experience should be a big wake up call for the Ultimate Universe heroes. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez Nov 7, 2024

The Ultimates #6 may be the best issue in the series when Deniz Camp assembles the Ultimate Avengers for their first big mission, and they get their butts handed to them. Despite the poor setup, the issue flies with power and energy once the big door opens, and artist Juan Frigeri looks like he's having a blast with the big hits and surprising amount of gore. ComicsOnline - Kevin Gaussoin Nov 6, 2024

Juan Frigeri and Federico Blee illustrate all the tension and action again this month. This time bringing us so much tension in a panel of characters feet, youd think Rob Liefeld was right there in the room with you. This time, the action goes off like seven capital cities full of gamma bombs. This time, the pathos Have I said too much?  Read Full Review

I skipped from OG Ultimates relaunch to 5 and 6, and the drama held up.

I imagine I’ll somehow enjoys this all more once I’m properly caught up.

For now, this comic has some excellent beats.

I'm enjoying this more than Ultimate Spider-man man. Deniz Camp has been made by this series. Pure Marvel magic.

    Plot
Tony Stark/Iron Lad gathers all the superhumans he has been recruiting, Captain America, Sif, Thor, Wasp, Giant Man, Human Torch, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, America Chavez and Doom for his first mission, to rescue a group of superhumans who are imprisoned by The Council, but in reality they walk into a trap of Hulk.

Hulk in this universe perfected his skills in K'un-lun, therefore it is a fusion between Iron Fist and Hulk, who has a team of warriors called THE IMMORTAL WEAPONS OF HULK, who inject themselves with a substance and become hulks.

The battle is cruel, The Ultimates were not prepared for this, apart from the fact that Doom could not bring them back because they were trapped by the magical enchantment of K'u more

This was totally insane. The callbacks to the og ultimate are brilliantly used, they bring a lot of tension. Definitely made me scared if things are going to be repeated. You know for a comic that was fairly tame with not much blood and gore and even action, this issue hits like a hammer. It uses its gore, its brutality to show you the stakes are different, and that this is an intense world, that the characters were not prepared for. Hulk plus Iron Fist seems like a dumb idea, but it's so great, so menacing and I think his first words of dialogue sum up his whole character perfecting. Again it's the character we know, the themes of it, but evolved, making out of him something truly terrifying in a more modern aspect of the old order being t more

Another really solid issue of Ultimates. It's simple, but it really delivers a well told story.

solid fun action. I like how Hulk basically has Iron Fist powers. This is shaping up to be a good series.

It clearly shows them inside a facility before they enter the restricted area and they thought they got that far just by disabling the cameras? Stupid. Some of the dialogue is soooo cringe and brings down the comic but some is really terrific so it's hard to stay in the zone while reading this book. The part where Fat Cobra eats Wasp & the result is predicable & just made me remember how much I hated the ending of the Old Man Logan story in the big special they did. It was more blood and gore which is always welcome as far as I'm concerned but at least Logan had claws that could cut through pretty much anything. I don't think she could have busted through. A bit of lazy writing but the rule of cool helps here. This is great fight com more
