Even the Fastest Man Alive can't outrun all the danger of the War for Earth-3. Enlisted by his former teammates on the Teen Titans, Wally West helped bring the Titans to Earth-3 but will any of them make it home? Chased by Earth-3's Johnny Quick, the Scarlet Speedster quickly finds himself running out of options.
I continue to be astounded at how good Jeremy Adams' run on The Flash is. The Flash has always been one of my favourite titles, but it's only since the Rebirth era that it's been my very favourite. And it's gotten even better since Adams took over as writer. Read Full Review
The Flash continues to be one of DCs cant miss titles. Issues like this one are a prime example. The War for Earth-3 crossover continues next week in Teen Titans Academy, which will have to bring it since the bar has been raised now. Read Full Review
Flash #780 is another stellar, near-flawless entry for Jeremy Adams' run. Don't sit on the sidelines: this is absolutely the best Flash run in two decades. Read Full Review
Readers will discover exactly how a tie-in book should be as THE FLASH #780 balances well between the current story with just enough references to the WAR FOR EARTH-3 while keeping his own story afloat. FLASH fans continue their story while people interested in the WAR FOR EARTH-3 get just a taste to see how the two weave together. Furthermore, as a Johnny Quick fan from way back in FOREVER EVIL, I was happy to see him get some more air time once again, especially after the recreation of Earth-3 following the events of DEATH METAL. The third chapter of War for Earth-3 might as well be a different world, as Jeremy Adams steps in and gives us what's essentially another installment in his excellent Flash run"with a lot of chaos coming in and out. Read Full Review
Ultimately, the tie-in to Earth-3 events works here as a strength rather than a weakness and is definitely worth your time. Read Full Review
This issue sets up future Flash stories and ties things up from where we left off in the previous Flash issue while leaving some mystery and drama. However, the actual War For Earth-3 parts of this book feel like they come out of nowhere and don't feel like they do that much for the actual event. Overall, the exposition just went with broad strokes to keep things as vague as possible. However, I can't wait for the next issue of The Flash, I just hope that the War For Earth-3 does more in its other tie-in books. Read Full Review
Interesting direction with linda, im loving this run
Wasn’t following the earth three event, but this was still enjoyable without the context and it’s definitely peaked my interest
Did not expect anything about this crossover to mention or tie-into Josh Williamson's upcoming plans. This definitely divided its time between being an epilogue for the previous storyline as well as a brief tangential stopgap for the event itself. Not too knowledgeable on this incarnation of Johnny Quick for Andy Schmidt's Crime Syndicate run, but he and Mirror Master are fun. Jeremy Adam's as always nails the character of Wally West and the shoulder tap KO of Johnny Quick was the best part of the issue.
Decent entry. Lots of news arcs are set up in this one. Overall this will read better as a whole when put together with the whole arc in place.
This is just another issue of Flash. I expected this to actually be integral to the War for Earth-3 stuff. And I guess it is, since something important does happen here. But if you're not reading the Flash, you're going to be very annoyed with the majority of this issue focusing on what's going on in Flash. This really reminds me of the tie-ins of old, for better or worse.
It was an enjoyable read but, very vaguely tied in to the earth 3 story. Also, just dumb that they let the guy get away.
this issue was not that bad, lets see how this event ends.
Nice explosive artwork that works really well in the fight scenes but I can't help but find the writing on this title a bit dull
Después de unas viñetas totalmente innece more
