    SciFiPulse - Ian Cullen

OverallOverall, this is a solid issue that pushes the story forward in meaningful ways. The only real criticism is that it leans a little too heavily on Luke's quest for the Crown, while giving relatively little attention to Leia and Mon Mothma's diplomatic struggle with the Pirrosi. A bit more narrative balance between the two threads could have strengthened the pacing and added more political tension. That said, it's likely we'll see more development on that front in the next issue, so it's too early to judge too harshly. Read Full Review

    Nerd Initiative - Josh Allen

Phil Noto might be my favorite artist in all of comics right now. I'd really have to sit down and write that list down, but when it comes to Star Wars absolutely nobody comes close. He does an incredible job capturing the likeness of Luke in a 2D format. Every panel in this issue is immaculately drawn, and Clayton's letters compliment the artwork so beautifully. Clayton & Noto are an incredible tandem, and are perfect for this series. Read Full Review

Star Wars #2 delivers a compelling solo adventure for Luke Skywalker, blending ancient Jedi mysteries with thrilling action and a clever mid-story twist that elevates the story. While some dialogue and exposition falter, the plot, atmospheric art, and nostalgic elements create a promising and engaging installment. Read Full Review

I sort of checked out of the current Marvel Star Wars books ... they are cranking out just too much - it became a chore to keep up. Well I thought I would give this new "post-Jedi" 2025 relaunch a shot ... I was so disappointed with the first issue, I dropped it, Star Wars just wasn't for me anymore. But then ... then, I spotted these 1990s Power of the Force action figure variant covers and I just couldn't resist. I was buying the book for the cover ... however curiosity caught me and I ended up reading issue two ... and it was a major improvement over issue one. First off the Phil Noto art is exceptional - really captures the characters without feeling like he is tracing film stills. The story was pretty decent in this second issue, more

This issue seems a little scattered. A Jedi crown? Really? The design is horrible. Luke jets off by himself, which is not in his character. There was no movement on the trade war storyline. I am looking forward to the next issue with Han and Valance. The Luke storyline has already lost me. My Comic Review Channel - https://youtu.be/8l2mvY9YFF0
